About Erin S Olson
We are a family of five from the Twin Cities and have been enjoying the Crosslake area for over 15 years. My husband and I were married in the Crosslake area over 10 years ago and have fallen in love with the area. Both of us come from large families and enjoy having a place where we can spend quality time with our all our friends and family doing the things we love most. We own and manage 5 rental properties in the Twin Cities and as well as run a successful Real Estate business. Crosslake is our place to relax and enjoy time together with family and friends. It truly is our home away from home.
Erin S Olson purchased this Cabin in 2017
Why Erin S Olson chose Crosslake
When we first step foot on Ivy Lane we knew it was a special place. It has a quiet and peaceful ambiance as it's tucked back in the South Bay of Crosslake, which gives you the feel of being on your own personal lake, but yet gives you access to the entire Whitefish Chain of lakes. The lakeshore was a hard sandy bottom making it the perfect swimming beach.
What makes this Cabin unique
The lakeside of the house faces West to get perfect views of the summer sunset off the back patio. Ivy Lane has an accessible entrance and has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths on the main level. We added a 16' expansive double sliding french door off the back to bring the outdoors in. We also added a screened porch off the back so you can enjoy the outdoors even after sunset without the bugs.

It was perfect
Traveled to the Crosslake area with a group of 9 to snowmobile and ice fish in February. The property was was ideal for our group and would be comfortable for a group twice our size. Communication with Erin was excellent from the beginning. The check-in process couldn't be any easier. The pictures don't lie...the property is beautiful Strongly considering a trip back during the summer and would definitely stay at this property again.
A fantastic family Christmas
We stayed here for our family Christmas and it was great! The house is beautiful, clean and cozy, with lots of spaces for everyone (adults and kids). Great location and owner is very responsive and helpful. We had a great time! Thank you so much!
Ivy Lane Home, CrossLake MN
Outstanding newly built home, beautiful inside and out. We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with our family. Plenty of room, nicely furnished and incredibly comfortable beds. Swimming, fishing, evening fire at fire pit, cards & games inside. Good communication with property owner. Highly recommend this property
We loved our stay at Ivy Lane! We had kids ages 16-3 with us. There was something for all of them to do. The lake was beautiful and the house was spacious. It's a must stay.
This home is beautiful and we loved the backyard access to the lake.
Overall everything met the needs for our group. The house had plenty of room and the screened in sun porch is a nice addition to the house.. We liked that the public access for boat launching was close and we were only minutes from anything we needed if you had to run into town. The proximity from the house to the lake was exactly what we wanted, as we were outdoors a good portion of the day. Everyone loved the house!
The only item I’d like to bring to your attention is parts of the house that needed cleaning. The exchange vents in the bedrooms were dirty. I question whether the master bathroom floor was cleaned as I found a q-tip behind the toilet and a couple clear hair ties on the floor.
Everyone enjoyed their week at Crosslake and would love to return in the future.
