About the property

3 bedroom second (top) floor apartment of 104 sq.m with a 43 sq.m balcony

The property is finished to a very high standard. It features quality oak furniture throughout, leather sofas, 32” HD TV with home theatre DVD and exquisite balcony tables and seating. The kitchen is fully fitted with everything you need, including a fridge/freezer and washing machine. Contemporary pictures, lighting and rugs give a welcoming ambience.

The master bedroom has a 5’ double bed with chest of drawers and dressing table. It has an en-suite with shower. Patio doors give access to a second balcony with two seats and coffee table, perfect for watching the beautiful sunsets.

Bedrooms two and three have twin beds that can be clipped and zipped together to give 6’ double beds. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes giving ample storage. There is a family bathroom and a further toilet. All rooms have air conditioner/ heaters and fly screens. High quality linen and towels are provided, but not beach/pool towels.

The huge balcony is a sun trap and features a large oval table, with parasol, lighting and comfortable seating for 6. It is south east facing, which means it is in sun from early morning to late afternoon. Then the sun goes round to the master bedroom balcony. There is a large gas BBQ.

The development has an oval swimming pool, with a separate Jacuzzi area, within a sheltered, sunny patio area. There are sun loungers and parasols for guest use. The apartment has one reserved underground car parking space.

About Robert Haywood

The owners live in Surrey, England. We purchased this property for us and our family to enjoy for holidays in the sun. The picture shows our daughter and one year old grandson enjoying some late season sun on our balcony.

Why Robert Haywood chose Paralimni

The apartment is in such a good location. It is near the town of Paralimni, which is the regional capital. It is not a tourist centre, so the shops and facilities are open year round. Yet it is also near Protaras and a few kilometres from Agia Napa, two major tourist resorts. So in the summer season there is a huge choice of beaches, restaurants and attractions.

It is also near the border with North Cyprus, so there is access to magnificent ancient sites such as Salamis and, further away, Kyrenia.

What makes this apartment unique

Our apartment is a great location for a holiday at any time of year.

In the winter, the weather is still generally warm and sunny so this is a perfect place for a quiet, winter sun holiday with lots of places to visit.

Spring (late February onwards) brings warmer weather and longer days - and the spring flowers are out along the coastal paths. This is the time for long walks or cycle rides along deserted cliffs and beaches.

Come June, the days get hot and the nights are warm and the tourist attractions are all open. Time for sunbathing and living on the beach - or by the pool. July and August are very hot.

In September, the tourists leave but the great weather stays to end October. Now you have warm seas and beautiful beaches, but without the crowds.

Then In November, the tourists centres close for the winter, and quiet descends on the area. But the weather remains generally warm, with some rain and cool evenings. So evenings become a time for leisure in the apartment, making use of the heating if needed.

Excellent property, no hesitation in recommending

Immaculate, well equipped property. Very spacious and roomy even for our elderly father. Gorgeous balcony. Plenty of bedroom space, thought of everything. Would have no qualms in hiring again in the future and recommending to others. The owners have thought of every little detail to make this a perfect stop in Cyprus.

I knew this was going to be a nice apartment by the photos, but to be honest they did not do it justice. the place is stunning, its not a holiday apartment more like a luxury flat. Everything you need for your stay, lovely comfortable beds, plenty of seating area both the sofas and dinning areas. The balcony is absolutely fabulous. I cannot recommend the apartment enough. We have stayed in this area 4 times in three different places and were very pleased with all of them, but this was definitely the best.

Car: recommended

Paralimni is the nearest town. It's facilities are open all year round. The new Southern Coastal Path starts nearby. The border with North Cyprus is near. You cannot take a hire car across the border, but a number of coach excursions are available from Paralimni to visit there. Famagusta and Salamis are near, Kyrenia is about 2 hrs journey by car.

There are a number of beaches along the cost road through Protaras and onto Ayia Napa which are major tourist areas with lively entertainment, many restaurants and activities.

Several nearby bays have watersports, as do the main beaches.
