Conveniently located between Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg, just 3 miles off the Parkway, the main road that runs between the 2 towns. The peaceful wooded setting makes this the ideal location to easily access all the events, restaurants, shopping & fun things to do in the area. You will enjoy just a short 10-minute drive to either town, all on main paved roads. Or, if just hibernating is what you like to do while vacationing, you will certainly enjoy the peacefulness of the Hibernation Hideaway. There are rocking chairs, a large porch swing & gas grill all under the covered decks. Out in the private yard is a hammock, fire-pit & kids round tree swing. The wide open spaces around the cabin are wonderful for privacy & a fun place to play games or just relax in the oversized hammock. Gather around the outside fire-pit for marshmallow toasting & outdoor hotdog grilling with chairs & wooden log benches surrounding the firepit. There are no cabins on either side or back of cabin & plenty of room for your pets & kids to run, play & enjoy the yard. The cabin is just 3 miles off the main road that runs between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, the distance between Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg is 5 miles apart.TWO bedrooms are located on different levels for privacy. Main-level bedroom has a NEW queen memory foam bed, large closet, NEW 32" TV & DVD player. Full downstairs bath has tub/shower. Upstairs bedroom has a NEW king memory foam bed & also a comfortable wooden trundle bed that will sleep 2, a jetted tub, half bath with closet, NEW 32" TV & DVD player.
Enjoy the cozy living room that has a stone fireplace w/ remote-operated logs, NEW 50" TV, DVD player, comfortable Lazy-Boy couch with recliners on both ends, big comfy leather chair & ottoman for your kick-back-relaxing-pleasure.
The kitchen is very well-equipped with all NEW appliance with all the dishes, cookware, & utensils that you will need for your eat-in-the-cabin meals. There is a kitchen table with 4 chairs & 2 log-type bar stools at the kitchen bar. Laundry closet with NEW full-size washer and dryer & is located on the main level.
The large wrap-around porch has a roof cover so you can enjoy the large wooden porch swing & rocking chairs anytime, even if it is raining. There is also a small table & chairs & NEW gas grill on the covered back deck. The relaxing, completely private hot tub is located on the back of the cabin, on a separate covered deck. All decks have wooden gates for added security for your pets & kids.
Only well-mannered pets are welcome at Hibernation Hideaway & must ALWAYS be crated when left alone in the cabin. A one-time-non-refundable Pet Fee applies. Touring Cades Cove is an 11-mile, one-way loop road circles the cove, offering motorists the opportunity to sightsee at a leisurely pace.
