Rend Lake attracts a vast number of hunters for ducks and geese. Scheller's Hidden Getaway is located in Jefferson County at 4355 East Freeman Road, Scheller, IL 62883. This area in Jefferson County appeals to deer, turkey, squirrel, and quail hunters along with duck and geese hunters. Scheller Playhouse, a restaurant/lounge, is located one mile from the guest house. Scheller Playhouse has wide variety on their menu at competitive prices. They occasionally have entrainment available. We are also just five minutes from a local café that serves breakfast and lunch. The guest house is also just eight miles from Sesser, IL . There are a few choices of restaurants, bars, gas stations and grocery stores in Sesser.

We are located in a great hunting area for deer, turkeys, and other wildlife. We are about five minutes from a Rend Lake boat dock. We are 13 miles south of Mt. Vernon, 7 miles from Nason, and 8 miles north of Sesser, IL.
