Perfect place to stay in Alberobello!
We stayed for three nights in this beautiful trullo in the heart of Alberobello. It was a perfect place for our family of four, with a bedroom with double bed and another double bed in an alcove in the main living area. Angelica's home is beautifully furnished and well-appointed. She even provided a refrigerator stocked with helpful supplies like eggs, yogurt, juice and some cold beer. This home is small but very well-organized and lovely. The back garden area is especially beautiful. Angelica was very responsive and helpful, and everything went smoothly all along the way from reservation to arrival and departure. Highly recommended! Grazie, Aneglica, for sharing your lovely trullo with us!
Dear Marcy, thank you so much for your feedback! You are such a lovely family, it has been really nice to meet you, I’ m so glad you enjoyed your time in this part of Italy and I wish you all the best for you and your beautiful loved ones. Thank you, Angelica.
Beautiful, homely trullo with incredible views from the garden
Our experience was fabulous from our first contact with Angelica - friendly, welcoming and full of great recommendations for restaurants and day trips. The Trullo is incredible; really homely, well equipped and with some lovely touches (cold beer and snacks on arrival, breakfast items and biscotti and coffee to enjoy on the terrace!) The location is perfect - right in the heart of the historic centre with bars and restaurants within a 5 mins walk, and the beautiful towns of Locorotondo, Martina Franca, Cisternino and Ostuni all within easy driving distances (and all worth a visit). The terrace and garden is the icing on the cake - we enjoyed breakfasts, lunches, dinner and late night cards/drinks here and never tired of the view. Highy recommneded (and thank you Angelica - lovely to meet you and stay in your beautiful home) xx
thank you very much for your beautiful words of appreciation, I am very happy you enjoyed your stay and that you made the most of your holiday in Puglia. I wish you all the best...
Beautifully-presented property in a culturally-fascinating setting.
We had a wonderful stay at this trullo property in Alberobello. The owner, Angelica, communicated so clearly in preparation for our holiday and even gave us helpful travel advice. Upon arrival we found the home to be spotlessly clean and very stylish, sensitively-decorated and attractive in all areas. During our stay we especially enjoyed spending time on the beautiful terrace with spectacular views over the historic trulli district. We cooked several meals in the kitchen too and found there to be every facility and convenience.
We found Alberobello as a town to be an excellent choice for a holiday as there are lovely restaurants and it has a good atmosphere that is a little more lively than other towns - without being too lively! We sometimes used it as a base and travelled by train to other destinations such as Castellano di Grotte - an amazing underground cave system - most recommended!
Whilst in the area we were constantly glad that we chose this property as it overlooks other trulli but isn't bombarded by hordes of tourists such as occurs in the area that we could view in the near distance. So it had the best of everything - the best views in the town plus peace and quiet.
We are thankful too for Angelica's excellent language skills, clear communication and kind help during our stay. We can also confirm that the photos on the site are accurate representations of the house in reality. We found everything to be most attractive and charming!
Dear Emma, thank you so much for your excellent feedback, I am glad you enjoyed your stay, your satisfaction was my main aim.
I'd also like to thank you for your kindness snd sensitiveness, I am honored I had you as my guests, hope to welcome you again soon in Puglia. All the best, Angelica. .
This property has been sympathetically restored to a high standard and whilst retaining its rustic charm it is well equipped for modern living.
Angelica was very welcoming and was able to answer all our questions from where’s the best place to park the car, to cafe and restaurant recommendations.
Situated in the historic Rione Ala Piccola area of the town we were ideally situated to explore with everything being within easy walking distance.
The garden is very tranquil providing an ideal area for relaxing and it’s a testament to the craftsman who designed these buildings that whilst it was over 30C in the afternoon sun the house remained comfortably cool inside.
Whilst only a short stay (3 nights) we found our stay a really wonderful experience with this property being everything we hoped for and a little bit more and would certainly recommend it to other couples.
Dear Frank and Tracey, thank you so much for your appreciation, your compliments are precious to me, I remember you know Puglia very well and I am really happy you came back and enjoyed your time in Alberobello. All the best, Angelica.
This home is a delightful, lovingly furnished trulli with a sunny back patio for sitting and dining. It is an easy walk to the main piazza for restaurants, shopping, and the museum. Brick arches against the whitewashed walls accent the cool, cave-like interior space of irregular shaped rooms. The two bathrooms and the kitchen are fully modern. We think the size of the trulli better serves a family of four, rather than four adults. Be sure to coordinate your arrival with the charming hostess; the streets and house numbers in Alberobello get all tangled up. Highly recommend.
Dear Susan, thank you very much for your review, I am very happy we contributed to help you spending a nice holiday in Puglia. See you next time soon! Angelica.
This lovely group of trulli is located in the farmyard small, historic center of Alberobello, city protected by UNESCO World Heritage List.
The breathtaking views that can be enjoyed from the private garden on the mellow horn of Rione Monti, the other historical and commercial district, is the added value of this property. Immersed in the green and in the magical atmosphere created by the stone and walking distance to museums, churches, bars and restaurants.
