The Perfect Place if Remote is your Style

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was wonderful. If you are looking to get away from it all, this is the place for you. It was beautiful, the nearby stream was gorgeous, the and hot tub was a treat. It is a great place to reconnect with family or read or any other quiet activity. The gravel road along the stream makes a great place for a long walk.

It is about 30-35 minutes to the nearest town with a full-size grocery store and other comforts, so prepare for a good amount of driving if you need to leave the cabin for just about anything.

It was perfect for us though and I would highly recommend it!

AWESOME vacation destination!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin is absolutely beautiful. The setting in the woods can't be beat. Although there is another cabin on the property (which you cannot see without hunting for it) the spot is totally secluded. The beds were wonderful. The kitchen has everything you might need. We were blessed to be there for the Total Solar Eclipse and were invited by the property owners to join them and neighbors to view the experience of a lifetime. Brad and Ginger are VERY kind and accomodating. They made us feel like family! The hot tub was a wonderful treat! There is plenty of hiking on the property and lots of waterfalls very near by. We were a group of 4 adults and 2 children. The children LOVED hiking in the woods and especially the waterfalls!

If you love nature and want to immerse yourselves in the woods, this is a teriffic place to do it!

Perfection in the mountains

  • 5 of 5

The home and property are wonderful beyond words. Our family created happy, priceless memories just enjoying the incredible, well appointed and decorated home, porches, rocking chairs, hot tub, fire pit, grill, woods, rushing stream down the hill, the symphony at night of nature. Thankful to our hosts for the home baked cookies upon arrival and helpfulness. Highly recommend this special spot. The house truly felt like love. It was very refreshing and appreciated. Perfect.

Vacation in Robbinsville

  • 4 of 5

The Cabin is really nice, and is remote but not alone on 21 Acres. There are three or four properties within view and two on the same property. There are many Jeep trails in the area, and plenty of places near by to fish or swim. It is truly a beautiful area to get away from it all, but you must be prepared ( as we were ) to drive a half hour or so to get to the nearest store. This was not an issue for us, and we enjoyed driving the back roads and taking in the scenery. Robbinsville and Graham county for that matter are dry, so anything you want to drink you must bring in.

The owners are very nice, and helpful. They always answer the phone with any questions you might have. The cabin was stocked with the little extras you might forget at home, which was really nice being so far out. The beds were comfortable, everything was nice and clean. I think its a good value for the money, we enjoyed it!

Beautiful seclusion and nature

  • 5 of 5

Thanks Brad and Ginger! The whole area is beautiful. The drive there is winding and adventurous. The forest is dense and lush. The fire pit and hot tub are perfect. The cabin is spacious, comfortable, beautiful, and decor is not overdone. My wife and I and 2 adult kids had plenty of room and access to all necessities. Sound of the rushing creek is constantly relaxing. Lake Santeetlah is not too far. Cheroala skyway not too far. Trails, zip lining, rafting, and plenty more reasonable drive. Or just go fishing and walk around. Explore a little on foot or in the car. Thunder Mountain general store is right up the road and the owners are terrific! Try Meemaw's spicy slaw and the fresh breakfast biscuits! Rent your boat from Bob and Joanne at Deyton Camp (trust me on this) for a great day on the lake! Eat at The Hub in Robbinsville it's fantastic (we ate there 3 times LOL!). Wish we had an extra week! So much more to see and do! And Ginger's cookies are ssssooooo gooood! Thanks for a great vacation!

Beautiful log cabin nestled deep in the mountains. Beautiful inside and out. Well equipped kitchen.

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time despite the rain! Comfortable beds. The log furniture in the living room is very uncomfortable. The cushions slip out from under you.We will definitely return to the area on another vacation. The owners came to meet us which I feel is a very personal touch. Super sweet Family! Thanks Brad, Ginger, and John
