Our apartment has the best location in Parque da Corcovada with sun all day (when the weather admits). It has direct access to the largest pool and garden area in the resort, good for children supervision but still offering you quietness and privacy. This modern, elegant and spacious apartment, of approx. 109 sq.m. floor area, consists of 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room and fully equipped kitchen. On top of that there are 2 large terraces (about 64 sq.m. in total), perfect for relaxing and dining areas for the whole family and friends.
The living room and the bedrooms have wooden floors (making the floors more comfortable in the winter). The kitchen and the bathrooms have clinker tiles. The apartment is supplied with air-conditioner (hot and cold), free WiFi, cable TV, furniture, linen, towels etc. making it comfortable and perfect for both short and long-term stay.
Parque da Corcovada, a new development completed in 2008, is ranked as one of the most popular resorts in Albufeira (Algarve - Portugal). The resort, which offers high security and privacy, is located close to services, the Strip, Old town, supermarkets/mall, beaches and golf courses. Children's playground, mini golf and restaurants are just 200 metres away from the apartment.

Amélia and I, Jonas, live in Sweden. Amélia was brought up in Portugal so we have a strong connection to the country. We love the climate, the people, the food and the nice atmosphere in Algarve. With more than 300 sunny days, we find Algarve a perfect place to enjoy throughout the year.
As we were looking for a modern and spacious apartment (for family gatherings in the sun) we fell for this apartment in Parque da Corcovada. We fell not only for the apartment's standard, but also for its great location as it is near the centre, the beaches, outdoor activities and golf courses.
What made us fall in love with this apartment was the following, among other things:
- 2 large terraces (the south terrace with direct access to the pool & garden area, north terrace great for cooling down on hot days).
- Private and secure resort.
- Despite its proximity to the pool, the apartment is located in a discrete area of the complex offering you privacy and quietness.
Ideal for families with children, disabled and elderly people.
The apartment was perfect in every way. Beautifully clean and spacious, the outside area was lovely for enjoying the all day sun. The location is great close to all amenities but far enough away for a peaceful stay. Would love to visit again. Thank you.
This property totally surpassed our expectations. It did look exactly like the photo's you see on-line but it was even better and more spacious than even the pictures represent. Extremely well located & better equipped than could ever be expected. A great private, very secure and quiet development a short 10 minute walk to anything you could ever want or need whilst on holiday but with more localised amenities right on your doorstep. The owners and property manager responsible for the property were all an absolute pleasure to deal with. We did contact them during our stay and their response was both swift and helpful. Our deposit was also returned promptly. If you are looking to holiday in Albufeira do not hesitate in staying here. We could not recommend highly enough and if we ever return to this area I would book my holiday around this apartment being available! Extra information on an activity is that we are keen walkers and as we had a hire car (which you certainly do not need to stay here) we travelled in land and did part of the Via Algarviana trail in the Loule region which is only about 40 minutes away. Not much in the way of public transport or taxis in the villages up in the hills so you have to plan ahead logistically but it was stunning and a great trail which is well marked. Google the Via Algarviana and the whole route map is available. Was a great experience and brilliant addition to our fabulous stay here.

This is the fourth time holidaying in the Corcovada complex over the past few years and the third time in Jonas and Amelia’s apartment because although all the apartments are great we believe theirs is in the best location within the complex – sun all day long on the rear, ground floor terrace, close enough to the adult and kiddie pools but just far enough away to not be disturbed by other guests enjoying their pool-splashing holidays.
The grounds are scrupulously maintained by on-site staff and the apartment has everything you will need to make your self-catering stay both enjoyable and memorable for all the right reasons. And if by chance you need anything checked or sorted during your stay the apartment manager Nuno is just a phone call away or his office is just a few minutes from the apartment – and he does respond promptly and is always helpful. And on-site security staff are only a phone call away should the need arise – which is reassuring but seldom needed as lots of the other apartments are occupied by residents who respect that this is a family complex and noise from other guests is rarely a problem – but if it is it is sorted immediately by security.
So enjoy you stay here – book it – you won’t regret it. We will be back – Thank you Jonas and Amelia for allowing us to stay in your wonderful family apartment (yet again) and Nuno for your diligence.
What an absolutely wonderful apartment this is. 20 meters from the pool yet blissfully quiet. Spacious, spotless and very well maintained. All the home appliances you could wish for and excellent wifi. The gardens and pool area are also maintained to a very high standard. Booked again for 2017 which says it all really.

We have stayed in other apartments in the Corcovada Complex in previous years but this is the best in terms of location within the complex, quality of furnishings and facilities. The rear terrace is private and gets the sun all day and is near enough to the pool areas to be easily accessible, without being directly adjacent to the pool area - so you will not be bothered when relaxing on the terrace by others splashing about in the pool area. The quality of the decor and furnishings with the apartment are first class, clean and tidy. There is every utensil within the kitchen that anyone would need. This is not so much a standard holiday apartment that you can find in any resort. This is a home from home apartment that will make your stay so much easier and you will be sorry to leave at the end of your stay. So if you have never been to Portugal then head for Albufeira and stay at this apartment. You will love it. Just as we have this time - and we are already booked again with Jonas and Amelia for this September. If you have been to Portugal before and are looking for a better apartment than you have selected before - then we would highly recommend you choose this apartment - you will not be disappointed. Near Albufeira city centre and The Strip. The Strip has several bars, restaurants and shops only about 5 min. walking distance from the apartment. Albufeira city centre, Old Town and the City Mall are approx. 20 min. away by foot. The closest beaches are Praia da Oura and Praia de Santa Eulália. Vilamoura, with its marvellous golf courses and casino, is just a 20 minutes drive.
