First, I want to thank Ginger very much for being so hospitable!! She helped us many ways and we thank her for her efforts.
The property was good for my wife and our 4 grandchildren. We tubed in the Little TN River, tried to ride the Great Smoky Mtn. RR,(went on a day when they were only running the dianasour childrens run), rafted on the Nantahala and had great times throwing rocks in the river and hiking the steep mountain road.
We decided to have a guys weekend up at this cabin and we were extremely happy with everything about the cabin. It was supposed to rain the whole day we got there but it didn't matter because of the wrap around covered porch. This cabin offers everything with a pool table, outdoor fire pit with seating, flat screen tvs, hot tub, kids toys, corn hole boards, and a spectacular view. The cabin is decorated very nice and was very clean. What was really nice was that all of the bedrooms all have a king sized bed! There was plenty of room for 5 guys to sleep comfortably, especially because they have a futon and a pull out bed available. We were not very good with the charcoal grill, but it does have a smoker if anyone is good with a charcoal grill. There were a lot of carpenter bees around, but anyone who understands carpenter bees knows that they are harmless and do not sting, they are mostly just curious. The cabin is very secluded, so if you want to relax it is perfect for that. Ginger, who I believe is the property manager was very helpful throughout the whole process.
All 5 of the guys have family with kids and we all said that we would stay here with our families because it was very kid friendly with several toys and games for the kids to play.
We had a good time in town and ate at Anthony's Pizza and it was great, we also went to the Nantahala Brewery which was very nice also. We wish we could have spent more time there and we plan to set a date and return to the same cabin next year. I would recommend this cabin to anyone. Thanks for letting us stay in your cabin!
My family went there over Christmas break...when we arrived the cabin had a decorated Christmas tree with Christmas decor throughout. This cabin had just about everything we needed except for snow!! The lower level was a little cool but owners are very accommodating. Very secluded which we wanted and close to streams and rivers for fishermen. This cabin is very homey and comfortable and clean.
