Located high on a Villa Borinquen hill near Isabel Segunda on fabulous Vieques, Cacimar House offers a great mix of spacious living indoors and out, with private pool and outdoor shower, handsome grounds and privacy - without sacrificing proximity to town the south shore beaches or airport. Three spacious bedrooms with lots of light - one king, one queen and one queen - all with new split unit air conditioning. The house sleeps 6, with three bathrooms and showers. Cacimar House is designed over two floors, with formal dining room, open plan kitchen, equipped with dishwasher, microwave and gas stove. Bright living room with walk-outs to the spacious terrace overlooking the grounds and pool. Patio furniture and BBQ. Covered outdoor terrace on the second floor. Separate Table Tennis room beside the pool. There is a laundry room with washer, dryer, linens and beach towels. Cacimar House has ceiling fans and two flat screen TVs with DVD. The grounds are well kept with palms, lime, hibiscus and flowering tropical plants.

Beatuiful, perfectly equipped home

My husband and I travelled around Puerto Rico over the holiday. Cacimar house was our last stop, and I can say we saved the best for last. Vieques is a gorgeous island, beautiful beaches and friendly people. The house has everything we could have needed, making beach trips awesome. It was very comfortable and had plenty of room for 3 couples. The one thing we wished we had done differently is reserve a car the day we booked this house, as there were none available over the busy holiday which made travel around the island stressful! The owner was very kind/helpful in suggestions, but cabs were more difficult to secure than expected. It is walking distance to town, but not for beaches. The house was clean and well organized. The game room, with ping pong table and dart board, was a bonus for pop up rain showers! Definitely stay here if you're considering a trip to Vieques!

Excellent house, great location

Joey, the Cacimar House caretaker, met us and drove us to our home for the week. The house was perfect for my family of four, visiting Vieques over Christmas. We appreciated the air conditioning in the bedrooms. The house is fully equipped and has everything you need--along with a few bonuses. We were happy to find snorkeling gear, a beach bag, and yoga mats as added benefits. We really enjoyed having a pool. There are plenty of eating spaces, both inside and out, making it ideal for entertaining. Cacimar House is well located to Isabel and Esperanza as well as the beach. The house owner, Charlie, was very quick to answer our questions and was always helpful. I would highly recommend a stay here and hope to return sometime.

Cacimar House Family Get Away!

Our family of 6 enjoyed a fabulous week vacation at Cacimar House over New Years 2015/16. What a beautiful house situated on the top of a hill overlooking the fabulous island of Vieques. Joey met us at the airport and guided us to the house to introduce us to the area and give us some wonderful tips. The accommodations were clean, up to date and well stocked. We loved having the pool and deck to enjoy in the evening, watching the sun set with a margarita in hand!

Great restaurants and beaches within a 10 min drive! Great location!

Perfect. Comfortable, spacious.

This was our second stay at Cacimar. There were seven of us, and we spent Christmas there. The house is spacious and well furnished. The interior is very attractive. The kitchen is well appointed and has everything needed. The owners also provide beach chairs, towels, an umbrella and coolers, which we used every day at the various amazing beaches on the island. There are also full laundry facilities, and all the appliances are in great condition.

The back deck has a beautiful view to the west, with wonderful sunsets. We ate dinner outside most nights. Below it, the pool deck is very private. The pool is a nice feature and gets lots of sun, but also has a large umbrella for shade.

The house sits on a hill above Isabella. There are nice views toward Culebra from the screened porch off the master bedroom. Taking back roads, our sons walked down to town in about 15 mins. By car it's less than 5 mins using the back roads, but you don't feel like you are too close to town.

This is a perfect vacation rental for a larger family or two small families. The house is a breeze to use and the owners are really helpful, as is their local property manager, Joey, who will meet you when you arrive and take you up to the house. We will definitely stay there again.

We had a really nice stay!

We stayed at Cacimar House in Vieques and had a lovely time. The house is really well layed out - nice and open concept share areas, generously sized bedrooms, great bathrooms. The kitchen is open, large and well appointed and lends itself well to cooking and serving drinks - there is even a beautiful gas bbq. The pool area is clean and well maintained and the grounds are mainured and have a wide assortment of local plants. We could not have been more comfortable.

The location is great with respect to getting to the various beautiful beaches and into town for dinner or shopping. There are a couple of places to get groceries and some great restaurants and bars close by. Be sure to go down to the pier and get fresh lobster on Fridays!

We thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely return!

A beautifully positioned and maintained home

Sitting by the pool, gazing over the ficus trees to the sea, enjoying the breeze and planning which of the many golden, empty beaches to visit on Vieques were a few of the many great features of Cacimar House.

Beautifully perched on a hill on the outskirts of Isabella Segunda, we hired bikes on Charlie's recommendation and loved the downhill stretch to the town and beach. The way back was rather more challenging but with the outdoor shower and beautifully maintained pool waiting, it was well worth the effort!

Charlie and Joe ensured our visit was perfect from start to finish pointing us in the direction of the best snorkling on the island, the most beautiful beaches, and the culinary delights. We sampled a fair few in our short but sweet stay...but an evening moonlit swim in Cacimar's pool, the well equipped kitchen and the very comfortable bed, meant we didn't stay away too long. We are already planning our return!
