My family and I stayed at Lands End this past June. The grounds were very nice. The beach and pool were amazing. The condo was a bit musty and some items were a bit out-dated. The bed in the master bedroom was very noisy just to even sit on the bed. The slightest move would create a loud squeak. The dryer took quite a while to dry the laundry. We were mostly disappointed with the property management. We booked this room through Bob yet when we got to our destination, it was not at all the room we inquired about online. The master bedroom did not have balcony access or a water view... as the picture on VRBO had clearly indicated. The decor was not as appealing as the photo of the unit we thought we were getting. My son has asthma so we were anticipating tiled floors based on the advertised room... unfortunately, carpeting was in a large part of the unit that Bob set us up with. Upon arrival we made an immediate attempt to contact the property management company where we picked up our keys. They stated they could not do anything. We were directed back to Bob. Needless to say, he did not respond back that day to either an email or a detailed voicemail left for him. Two days later we saw we had missed a call from him very early in the morning before we got up. By that time, the kids had settled in and we had decided to just deal with what we had. In short... I would be cautious and get specific details on the actual unit you are promised. Bob was rude at times even prior to our arrival... we should have looked to deal with someone else.
