Our comfortable waterfront cottage has a gorgeous southwest view of Muscongus Bay. Your 180 degree view of the Bay and its islands, lobster boats and buoys, kayaks, and spectacular sunsets will soothe and delight. The unspoiled view is equally delightful from the the master bedroom, living room, kitchen, den, screened porch, or dock. Our newly renovated kitchen, first floor bathroom, and den were designed for maximum comfort and view . A large dock and float has deep water and is perfect for your boat or kayak. Friendship is famous for some of the best kayaking (and lobsters) in Maine! Don't have a kayak? Rentals and lessons are just up the road.
Rockland, home of the Farnsworth and Andrew Wyeth Museum, and the Maine Lobster Festival, is a scenic 30 minute drive. Lots of antique stores, art galleries, and some nice restaurants. Camden and its often-photographed harbor is just a bit further up the road from Rockland.

Wow. What a wonderful home. We were there with another couple and had a great time exploring Maine. We also found a little gem right in Waldoboro. The Narrows. Great time on Tuesday listening to the locals. We hope to return next year. Want to enjoy the views from the home and just relax.
The cottage and its surroundings are breath taking, tranquil and relaxing. The views are incredible. The sunsets spectacular. The home is beautiful and very inviting and comfortable.
You can feel the love that the owners have for this home when you walk in.
We so enjoyed setting on the dock in the evenings, and watching lobster boats in the mornings. We enjoyed every minute we where there. We took advantage of all the tools for
cooking lobster and the screened porch for eating them.
We enjoyed day trips to the town of Friendly, Rockland, Rockport and Camden, but looked forward to our evenings in the cottage. This was the best place we have ever stayed!!!
We hated to see our time here end and would not think twice about going back.
This cottage is so special. The view is unbeatable and the cottage is very comfortable. The kitchen is very updated and gourmet. Everything you need to cook meals and even steam your own fresh lobsters. We never tired of watching the lobster boats in the early morning as they pulled up their traps. We also never tired of the gorgeous sunsets every evening. The location is so quiet and picturesque. There are plenty of great day trips close by but the best thing is just relaxing on the big screened porch or watching the bay from the living room's many large windows. I cannot say enough good things about this place. The owner was a pleasure to work with. Her original artwork is all around the cottage and adds such a great colorful artistic touch. We loved this place!
This cottage is the perfect place to stay if you're looking for a relaxing vacation. We had a wonderful time and truly enjoyed every minute of our stay. The views here are absolutely breathtaking!
We woke up each morning to lobster boats pulling up their traps and finished the day with beautiful sunsets across the bay. We spent some days just lounging on the dock or in the screened-in porch reading books or just enjoying the view.
The town of Friendship is a great and the harbor is like something out of a movie. You can even buy fresh lobster right off the boat.
The cottage is perfectly decorated and comes with everything you need to have a great time, even a pot to cook the lobster!
With a whimsical spirit and an absolute tidy demeanor this cottage is a "keepsake"...We came for our 30th anniversary and have since decided to return again next year. This cottage is so centrally located to all the scenic by-ways, lighthouses and popular harbors- like Boothbay. Visiting the lovely villages of Camden, Darmariscotta and Newcastle are "must sees". Truly, a chef's paradise, the kitchen is well-equipped for successful dinning at home. We recommend going to Wallace's Lobster Company in Friendship to purchase fresh lobsters-they even recommend using sea water to cook them. If you want to dine out- take your pick: Thomaston Cafe or "Red's Eats" in Wiscasset both within a short drive. The owner promptly communicates with clients and provides an additional resources about the area. I believe the owner desires to treat her quests to an unforgettable visit to Maine and she succeeds. If you are looking for those desired amenities in a vacation home choosing the perfect place to stay in Maine just got easier! We are in love with Maine. You will be too!!
Pictures just cannot do this place justice--it is sooo beautiful! We just returned from a week in this home and touring around this part of the Maine coast from Boothbay Harbor to Camden. The house, grounds, and dock are all so lovely. We started each day having our coffee on either the dock or the screened-in porch watching the lobster boats pull their traps in the bay right in front of us. It was so peaceful and colorful as to be almost surreal--if you tried to paint a picture with the colors in the sunsets across that bay, no one would believe it! The house is extremely well outfitted, the beds are comfortable, and the price is perfectly reasonable. I loved beautiful Friendship Harbor even more than some of the larger ones! You can buy fresh lobster right off the boats there, and the kitchen at the cottage comes complete with lobster pot! Everyone we met in the area was friendly, and the owner has been most helpful and easy to work with. I would definitely do this again, and hope to have that opportunity some day! If you want to stay right in the middle of the action, this place may not be for you--but if you want a peaceful, restful, clean and beautiful place with all the dining, shopping, and sightseeing you could wish for within short and beautiful drives in either direction, then this place is for you!! I loved it!!
