Best Kept Secret on the Island

  • 5 of 5

This was a lovely home in which to spend our family vacation. Although we have spent several summers at the Vineyard, this beautifully appointed home provided the perfect environment for three generations to relax, renew and reconnect. The attention to detail contributed to our enjoyment. One generation enjoyed the bikes while another preferred the hammock on the porch.

This home is the best kept secret on the island!

Immaculate, beautiful central location

  • 5 of 5

My family rented this home for our daughter and her bridesmaids ... the house was lovely! So clean and shiny, all the appliances you could wish for and the owners helpful and friendly - they ensured everything was perfect from several pre arrival helpful e-mails detailing sheet/towel rentals and things to do as well as a personal visit with paper products when we got there. The home itself is just so relaxing and beautiful - looks professionally decorated! A very short walk to Oak Bluffs restaurants and bars and a perfect location for talking walks and bike rides - so close to lovely island scenery. We would stay here again and not hesitate to recommend it to others. I love a new, clean home with air conditioning and all the modern conveniences and this hit all the marks! The owners were also gracious enough to allow a late checkout due to the checkout day falling the day after a late night wedding. Thank you John and Sue!

Close to town, yet away from it all - Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

I stayed at this house for a girls getaway weekend and it couldn't have been more perfect. We did bring a car, but always walked into Oak Bluffs for dining and shopping. One night we walked to the bus stop and took the bus right into The Atlantic in Edgartown for dinner. Getting around was so easy! The house itself is spacious with a beachy vibe and very clean. The shed was stalked with lots of beach chairs, games and even a bike! Going with a large group can be tricky to coordinate, but I really enjoyed the convenience of this home. I'm an early bird, so waking up early, walking into town to get coffee and drinking it on the front porch before anyone wakes up - simply perfect. Can't wait to return again next year!

Exactly What We Wanted

  • 5 of 5

This was my second year to the vineyard and we wanted a bigger house. This house Is exactly everything the owners said it would be and more. It's in a great location. You can walk to town in 5-7mins. The house is immaculate and spacious. It's nicely decorated. The owners paid attention to details when decorating. John, owner, was extremely responsive and helped with any questions or suggestions we needed. I would highly recommend this home. It's can sleep 9 comfortably.

A true home away from home!

  • 5 of 5

We couldn't have found a more comfortable home for our extended family of 8 (3 generations). The house is furnished very comfortably and decorated simply, but beautifully! And I've never stayed in a cleaner rental home. This house truly offers all the creature comforts! Each bedroom is cozy and bright, the kitchen is well appointed, and the family spaces (3 - one on each level) are comfortable and well-outfitted for everyone to enjoy! The location, near the Oak Bluffs library was SO convenient to walk to Oak Bluffs and EChop, or a fast ride to Vineyard Haven, yet quiet and residential for a good night's rest. The owners, John and Sue, were DELIGHTFUL to deal with and helpful to plan our stay! I can't say enough how much my entire family loved this home!
