Richmond District Apartment Rental Photos and Description

Apartment, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4-5)

Visiting to San Francisco? Lucky for you. I have just the place for you!

A renovated six room flat, fully furnished, comfortable and spacious 1200 square foot flat with lots of windows. This unit has hardwood floor throughout formal living, dining room, a large bedroom and a smaller bedroom. While the bathroom and full kitchen have natural stone floor.

My home is the ideal location for those traveling for business or pleasure. It is within walking distance to some of San Francisco's popular attractions: Golden Gate Park and Lincoln Park (where the Legion of Honor is) Destinations such as Golden Gate Bridge, California Academy of Sciences Museum, de Young Museum, China Beach, Ocean Beach, Baker Beach, the Presidio, San Francisco zoo, etc are all within close proximity.

A block away, you can catch an Express bus ride to downtown. Other tourist places that within a bus ride (24-hr service) are: Japan Town, Union Square, Chinatown, the Cable Cars, Westfield San Francisco Center, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. Why hassle with the traffic & parking if you can access to the entire city so conveniently?

In addition to the several grocery stores, coffee shops, bakeries, specialty shops, local theatre and bars, there are many famous ethnic restaurants located nearby offering a variety of cheap eats to fine dining. Not to mention, Aziza, 1 michelin star restaurant is just a block away.

After a long day outing, you can rest on a comfortable queen sized bed in the large bedroom. Another smaller bedroom also has a queen sized bed (photo to be updated). Additional convertible sofa in the living room which you can easily convert it to a double bed.

Large bathroom with marbled shower enclosure and vanity is the place you want to rejuvenate yourself.

Full kitchen with granite countertop where you can fix simple meals while the other open side is the dining table.

My home is the perfect choice for individuals looking for a clean, comfortable, affordable place to stay. Enjoy a comfortable night’s sleep, but would rather save on lodging and splurge on dining, shopping and sightseeing. Whether you are guest who stays for a brief vacation or an extended stay, when you are in San Francisco, explore our wonderful city and enjoy all the best that San Francisco has to offer.

The perfect VRBO apartment in San Francisco

  • 5 of 5

We fell in love with the apartment during our two-week stay. It is within easy walking distance of many shops, restaurants, cafés, and markets, especially Asian, Russian, and Polish ones. Several bus routes have stops close by, and the Muni 38 series traverse the entire city via Geary Boulevard, from Market & Beale downtown all the way to Land’s End.

In the interest of economy, we ate most breakfasts and simple dinners at the apartment, since it has a complete and modern kitchen. Two separate bedrooms—one soft bed and one firm—make for easy sleeping. The living room has a wide-screen TV, and the bathroom has a glass stand-alone shower. The entire apartment has been completely redecorated and modernized, but retains its beautiful, original hardwood floors.

Surrounded as it is by traffic, the apartment is very quiet, perhaps because of its location in mid-block. In addition, the neighborhood feels safe.

The owner is accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. We are grateful to her for making our dream San Francisco vacation a reality.

Great apartment, superb location

  • 5 of 5

My husband & I along with our friends, stayed here for 4 days.

Location is perfect, there is so many restaurants, bars & shops nearby. (even treated myself to a pedicure at Richmond Nail Salon), close to the Golden Gate Park which is beautiful.

The apartment is clean, a lot bigger than expected and has everything you need for a nice stay in San Francisco.

Sandi was so great to arrange with, quick to respond and super easy.

Would recommend staying here to anyone. Can't wait to come back if I'm honest

Lovely space and very comfortable

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in the flat, 2 adults and 2 children. We had a wonderful time. Everything needed was there. The location is well connected to downtown but also allows for a walk to the beach. Highly recommendable.

Convenient Location

  • 3 of 5

Pros: The pictures of the second bedroom are not accurate. The bed is actually full size which was a plus. The apartment was clean. We appreciated the ease of getting into the unit with a coded door. We were visiting relatives living in a small place, the location was excellent; we were able to walk to their home, and pick up coffee and bakery items on the way. Safe neighborhood. Kitchen fully equipped, appreciated the coffee maker, filters, and coffee beans, although no grinder. Amount of square is spacious, especially for a family.

Cons: The linens on the beds are IKEA, as well as the furnishings, so everything a bit cheap and wobbly. Pillows pretty flat, could certainly use some upgrading. The towels in the bathroom have definitely seen better days and even smelled a little funky. One towel had a tear in it and the washcloths were not matching, they looked like old castoffs. The curtains on the windows seemed to be IKEA also, the ones in the living room barely covered the window. Our impression was that this unit was remodeled and furnished as cheaply as possible. Other Homeaway units we have rented, had a welcome basket in the kitchen, but this place is pretty Spartan. The couches in the living room had fitted sheets covering them which was definitely not welcoming or homey. One of the coffee mugs in the kitchen had the "F" word on it, not sure if owner wants to project that, or if a previous guest left it behind and owner not aware. The steep narrow steps to the unit might inhibit some people.

Cute, comfortable and big space!

  • 5 of 5

I treated my mom to a weekend in San Francisco for her retirement present and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for the two of us.

The place was so nice, clean, well kept, and super spacious. The apartment is cutely designed and the kitchen is brand new. And as though it couldn't get any better, there is also a little deck/back porch that looks onto a backyard. Rare for the city! Both bedrooms had big beds and more than big enough closets. The bathroom was also new with a standing glass shower, such a treat. The entire apartment was just the perfect place to unwind after a long day of visiting the city to relax and watch TV (that has cable!), and most importantly get a good night's rest. The wifi was also excellent as I had a bit of work to do.

We paid a little extra to have the parking space since we had a car for the weekend. Not that there isn't street parking, but you'd probably have to circle the block a few times. Being able to just keep it in the garage was perfect. And the neighborhood was PERFECT. Super safe (it's across a really cute school) but also just a block away from some great cultural restaurants! Not to mention just a quick drive to Golden Gate Bridge and also a literal few blocks to some of the most gorgeous and grand homes on the bay.

This was the perfect apartment and we can't wait to book again for our next trip to SF now that we've found the best place to stay! My only complaint? The place was seriously so spacious that we wish we would have brought the rest of the family!

Great Location

  • 5 of 5

I brought my four children, teens and early 20s, to see the city where I spent my 20s. Great location, as advertised; quiet, residential area, yet close to bus lines and many attractions. We had rented the garage and were glad we did as parking on the street was hard to find. The flat was clean and spacious, beds comfortable. I enjoyed hearing the muffled sound of the foghorns in the early morning. The shower had good water flow. All the appliances worked well and Sandi has provided some extras in the kitchen. Would return again!
