The property was nice! We were looking for a peaceful get away we got it!
We loved the fact that we could hear the creek from the porch or even better by the awesome firepit! It was quiet relaxing and very peaceful! The yard is huge enough to put up a net play volleyball ball etc. There's tables outside to grill out not to mention the hamack! The property was very clean and had everything you would need! Loved having a TV in the living room and bedroom. The owner awesome! She was willing to accommodate us in any way to make our weekend the perfect, relaxing weekend we wanted! Thank you so much! Couldn't have asked for anything more! We will be back!
Simple and Nice
Simple and nice place to stay. Enjoy the mountains and stream
Quiet, relaxing and very clean a wonderful stay for the price.
It was just what it was suppose to be, nothing fancy, but everything you need and clean.
Darlene is so awesome!!
Our stay was great! It was just a little farther than we expected from the track. If you are looking for a quiet place in the middle of no where and love to watch deer that come out and feed on the grass, this is your place! My husband would stand outside every morning drinking his coffee and would sit and watch the deer before he started his day at the track with my daughter. The house was fully furnished and totally stocked! I didn’t have to buy anything!! When I had questions, Darlene answered right away!! She’s absolutely wonderful!! You won’t be sorry!
We wanted to have a getaway with friends that was simple and affordable. We were looking for a place that we could come to with our dogs and relax. We found this place in the South Holston River area and did just that! If you are looking for a fancy, luxurious place this cabin is not for you. They have internet and the basics in accomodations. We didn't watch TV for the week we were there. We hiked, grilled, sat outside under the tree near the stream on the property, which was lovely! We played games, read books in the hammock by the stream, took naps, played with our dogs, and enjoyed the peace and quiet that this place offers. The owners couldn't have been nicer! They are new to HomeAway, so there were a few things we needed to ask for that we didn't have, but they were very responsive and provided them right away. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the best part was that they did not mind us having our dogs, with whom we love to travel! Thanks Darlene and Steve, we had a wonderful week!!
