About Brian Peterson
In 2011 we purchased, upgraded and remodeled The Hassler House. In 2012 we moved to the Central Valley for work where Brian is in the agriculture packaging industry and his wife is a high school teacher. We have 3 grown children. We love the outdoors and our Hassler home is a special place to us and our family.

Why Brian Peterson chose Placerville
Hello! The Hassler House has been in our family since it was originally built in 1977 by Dub and Mona Kramer. It was built on the property that they had enjoyed since the early 60's. Since then four generations of Kramers and Petersons have enjoyed wonderful times together and built fond memories here. We are excited to be able to share this wonderful place with you.

Friendly and accommodating!
The house was so clean and the owner was really nice and accommodating. The bed mattresses were pretty hard, but maybe that was just us.
Our yearly retreat
We rented this house again last year around the same time. We come up for the peace and quiet and that's what we get when we stay here.
We rented the Hassler House because of it's location. It was close to the venue chosen for my son's wedding. The bride, a bridesmaid and her parents stayed there. Great photos were taken there prior to their wedding at High Sierra Iris and Wedding Gardens which is 5 minutes down the road. Would highly recommend this perfectly appointed and charming cabin.
A Little Slice of Heaven
My husband and I were in town for a family wedding. We needed a quiet place for him to rest between the festivities. We found it!! The house is ultra clean, beds are comfortable, kitchen is well stocked and parking for our big truck was a breeze. As much as we enjoyed the events of the weekend we couldn't wait to get back to Hassler House and sit out on the beautiful deck and enjoy a glass of wine.
Brian was always available and it was a pleasure to talk to him.
No more Best Western for us!! We look forward to returning!!
The house was very clean and all as advertised. We enjoyed the area and the property very much. Check in/out was super easy and communication a breeze. Recommended.
Lovely house in a perfect location to explore Placerville and the El Dorado wine region
We had a wonderful stay at Hassler House. Beautiful location, very quiet. House was comfortable and well appointed. We enjoyed Apple Hill, Placerville and the fabulous wineries in the area. We will definitely be back.
