About Alejandro Martinez
Health Care Professional. Love being outdoors and traveling.
Alejandro Martinez purchased this House in 2017
Why Alejandro Martinez chose East Side
Love the proximity to downtown and the character this house had to offer when I bought it. It has taken a few months and a lot of time and effort to fix it up the way I want it to but now that I see the results, I'm in love with it
What makes this House unique
Large living spaces. Each room has an attached private restroom. 12 foot ceilings. Still preserves most of its original architecture with some modern additions

Nice place with a lot of character!
Loads of character and a really nice comfortable place to stay! We’d definitely stay again should we be in San Antonio!
Great Days al San Antonio
We enjoyed our stay al this beautiful house. Congrats to the owner!
Thank you so much for the positive review Matias. I really appreciate it. Glad you had a great stay. Let me know when you’re back in town
Alejandro was extremely accommodating. He let us drop our luggage off early and then was very flexible when our plans changed unexpectedly. The house was so well decorated, very modern and comfortable. Thanks for a great first trip to San Antonio!
I can’t say enough good things Alejandro our first night San Antonio had straight line winds and hail power outage but we were in good hands he brought lanterns and kept us up to date on returning power the house is situated on the end of the street with off street parking plenty of privacy , I love the old charm wood floors stain glass windows and shutters and the yard with its trees and paths is special
Thank you so much for this wonderful review Kim. I really do appreciate you taking the time for it. It makes me happy to see you guys enjoyed your stay. Let me know when you're back in town.
This bungalow has had some great updates but has not been totally redone and has kept some of its 1940ish quirks. The quest for what the light switches went to was fun. Pictures posted are a little more pristine then the real thing but a great location that worked perfectly for our Trinity graduation weekend. Ample parking and lots of space to spread out and entertain my son’s girlfriends family. T
Thank you for your review Heidi. Yea, we've had to adapt some new light switches to the style of the home. Adds a bit to its uniqueness.
Great location, peaceful setting
We stayed here for the Battle of Flowers Parade. It was within walking distance to the parade route, as well as to the Pearl Brewery area. Uber rides are short to the Riverwalk area as well. The house is open, roomy and clean, with updated bathrooms and it’s own charm. Hanging out at the table in the kitchen in the mornings, and listening to the birds while sitting in the back yard during the day was SO much better than a hotel room. Alejandro was very responsive to issues we had with getting in the house, so not really an issue at all!
Thank you for the review Sharon! Glad you enjoyed your stay.
The house is in the downtown area so there are tons of restaurants, bars, and attractions
