This is a lovely old New England farmhouse nestled on a hill overlooking the village of South Waterford. The property includes five private acres of lawns, gardens and woods, bordered by the village brook. A spring-fed stream runs through the grounds.

The house has lots of light, hardwood floors and high ceilings. There are three bedrooms: one full, one queen, and one with two twin beds. The home also has four walk-in closets and two bright , newly renovated bathrooms

There is a large country eat-in kitchen, formal dining room, sunny living room with wood stove, and study with futon for extra guests. A huge screened-in porch stretches the length of the house in front, overlooking the village church. There is a laundry room and connected workshop, and also a barn for storing seasonal items, such as canoes.

Had a great long weekend with friends and kids at the house. Cozy, clean and inviting antique home. Wonderful screened in porch, charming decor. Appreciated details like pack n play, grill, wifi. Loved it and would definitely recommend!

Awesome stay bringing history into our time there.

Great space for our large family-6 kids! Owner goes above and beyond by having all the "little things" available -spice cabinet was a bonus. The owner maintains a great vacation spot!! I will miss the evening glasses of wine and morning cups of coffee on the screened porch.

We were in town for our daughter's wedding and our whole family stayed here comfortably. We were able to entertain our out of town guests here as well. Kerstin communicated with us well. I would highly recommend staying here. We'll be back!

Lovely step back in time (but with all the amenities)

Our family enjoyed our stay at the Mill House and the adjacent Church house property. Everything we needed was there at our disposal (linens, kitchen supplies, etc) and we had lots of room to roam. Only wish we had more time to stay and visit. We hope to come back. Great place for family reunion.
