Beautiful home in a gorgeous part of Maine!

  • 5 of 5

We had a fantastic time during our stay. The house is lovely and absolutely full of character, charm, and comfort. It's got a great woodstove and one of the most divine screened-in front porches I have ever seen, replete with a family set of rocking chairs and a dining area. The beds are very cozy and there is plenty of room in the kitchen for those who enjoy cooking.

We visit Maine often. This area is a real, hidden treasure. All the lakes and surrounding mountains are simply stunning. The house is situated in a nice, central location, with lots of cute towns in relative close proximity.

We highly recommend this listing!

Wonderful Labor Day weekend at Kerstins house

  • 5 of 5

Kerstin's house is indeed a charming place to spend some vacation time. It is an older New England-style with dormers that has created very cool smaller rooms, closets and storage areas on the 2nd floor off the bedrooms. We made fabulous meals in the country kitchen, where there were all the cooking implements and appliances one would need. The screened-in porch is weathered with age, but like the whole house has been lovingly furnished. There were plenty of rocking chairs for our large group and many raucous dominoes games were played there.

We hiked up Bald Peak Trail in Bridgton and found a gorgeous view on Hawk Mountain, which is less than a mile away.

Kerstin was easy to deal with and truly accommodating. We loved our stay and will certainly go back again.

Awesome stay bringing history into our time there.

  • 5 of 5

Great space for our large family-6 kids! Owner goes above and beyond by having all the "little things" available -spice cabinet was a bonus. The owner maintains a great vacation spot!! I will miss the evening glasses of wine and morning cups of coffee on the screened porch.
