Peace and Quiet!

  • 5 of 5

Prior to moving to NC from MI 10 years ago we came to this area to camp, fish and hike every chance we had. This cabin was the perfect place to stay and do just that. It is very comfortable and accommodating. A true home away from home. The fishing is a little tight so bring your little "flea flicker". But calm and gentle. Perfect for a nice wade on a warm summer day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will most definitely be back!

Adventure at Moons Town

  • 5 of 5

Listing description was accurate regarding location, layout, amenities and local activities/events. Property was actually undersold for the enjoyment and ambiance that it created.

The property was clean and well maintained. A perfect marriage of human comforts and natural environment.

Maureen Moon was an excellent hostess in absence-going over and beyond what would be required even at the highest levels. The customer service was tremendous and we felt as if we were part of her family during our stay.

We would highly recommend this property to one and all. Definitely will be revisiting in various seasons going forward.

We enjoyed the canoeing, kayaking and fishing available in the area and the Grayling Restaurant was a breath of local flavor that we enjoyed immensely.

Wonderful Relaxing Getaway

  • 5 of 5

The cabin and grounds are splendid and exactly as described in listing. We enjoyed the comforts of the well appointed cabin, cozy outdoor campfires, long walks and the calming river. Just as if you were at your own family cabin. We saw plenty of deer and local creatures while exploring the area. We could not have asked for a better experience. We WILL be back and, WILL recommend to family and friends. BTW.... Maureen, the owner was a pleasure to deal with!

Thank you again Maureen!
