Located only 50 miles north of Grand Rapids, Townline Lake is a beautiful 250 acre 'all sports' lake. It's a nice fishing lake and a great lake for swimming, skiing or jet skiing. The cottage faces southwest enabling you to enjoy wonderful sunsets. The cottage has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with an open floor plan and sun room overlooking the lake. A huge deck is only steps from the waters edge. The cottage is 2 doors down from a park that has a buoyed swimming area, playground, basketball court and picnic area. Its also only a few doors down from a public boat launch. We do have a dock so bring your boat. There's a sandy beach along with a fire pit by the water. You can sit in the sun by the beach or relax on the oak shaded deck. If you feel lucky, The Soaring Eagle Casino is only 36 miles away.

Nice little get away
We had a great time on our vacation. The view is beautiful. Townline lake is nice, peaceful lake. The cottage was well supplied. The cottage was also very spacious, we had 4 adults and 1 child staying......I think we could easily have slept 10!
This is definitely a woodsy, lakeside cottage. There are bugs and animals. The cottage is a bit out of the way (the nearest town with grocery etc is Lakeview about 15 minutes away). But if you are looking for a simple, quiet getaway, this would probably be a great fit!
The place is very spacious and the provided amenities were very adequate for a comfortable stay!
The property is great with mature trees and a large outdoor deck that enhanced the nature effect. The lake is very nice for all types of recreation. The fishing was especially good!
The lake and paddle boat were just what the kids wanted for a getaway. They had a great time out there!
Honestly though, they didn't like the spiders. The outside of the cabin was covered in spider webs and of course, many made their way indoors. Overall the home was clean and well stocked. Plenty of room to spread out and play games. It was nice to do some laundry before we left!
I am glad you enjoyed your stay. We do power wash the house but because it is located on a lake and there are bugs around the spiders and webs return quite quickly. Thank you again for your feedback.
Good location...house in need of paint & repairs.
Good location...roomy living quarters. House in need of paint & repairs...outside trash cans already partly filled when we arrived. 3 out of 5 stars.
I am sorry there was something in disrepair during your stay. I have a property manager that I would have sent over if I knew that there was something affecting your stay. We do our best to make it a comfortable stay. Thanks again for your input.
Very comfortable. Good beds. Well stocked with dishes and cooking items. Very spacious and clean!! Nice dock for boats.
Cotttage on the hill in the shade.
We were surprised by the extra fridge and the large sizes of the bedrooms. The window air condtioner in the kitchen helped with cooking and sleeping at night. Plenty of parking behind the unit. Great view of the lake. The swiming area at the park just down the road was used by the kids almost everyday. The property required too much of our time to clean when we first arrived, spider webs everywhere. Renter fromt he previous week was still in the property at 2:30 pm. The Amish breakfast and horseback trail riding will be added to our yearly family get together. The phone was out both weeks we were there, had to use our cell phones to order local pizza. High quality flooring/sliders, and ceilings fans materials and linens and towels.
