Estes Park House Rental Photos and Description

House, 3 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 full Baths, (Sleeps 6)

You CAN come to the mountains and relax!

New master bedroom and bathroom added! It's beautiful! New laundry room! 2nd flat screen tv (60") added. More deck area added overlooking Mary's Lake!

My quirky, cozy little home (1,500 sq ft)is sitting on a knoll over looking Mary’s Lake in Estes Park, CO. It is available for your Rocky Mountain getaway.

Only four miles from all the events and shopping of down town Estes. Available for Memorial Day and Labor Day Craft Shows, Rooftop Rodeo, Scandinavian Festival, Scottish/Irish Festival, Elkfest, on and on.... The Cottage is just a 5 minute drive to the south entrance of Rocky Mountain State Park for all the hiking, fishing and outdoor activities you can think of. You’ll be seeing elk everyday and even get to pet one if you like.

There are 22 feet of floor to ceiling windows for a clear view of glorious mountain ranges. The beautiful, glistening Mary’s Lake can be seen from this bright, high ceiling living room. You can walk down the hill to the lake for picnicing, fishing for trout and wading. Wild elk and deer are known to walk right up to those windows to munch the grasses.

The wrap around deck is great for sipping your morning coffee in a beautiful setting and perfect for sitting out at night under the moon and stars – The stars seem so close you might think you can reach out and touch them.

The kitchen is at your disposal and a grill outside is perfect for the barbeque chef. Three comfortable bedrooms give plenty of room for sleeping. There is a queen pillowtop bed in the master bedroom with 50"flatscreen TV. There is a pillow top full bed in the second bedroom and the third bedroom has a full bed with a comfort topper. A gueen Aero bed is available. There is a 60" flatscreen TV in the living room with Direct TV and plenty of DVD movies to watch. Wireless internet is available for those who can't leave the computer home.

Your small doggies are welcome, too! So, bring the 'whole' family! Just let me know who's coming. There's plenty of empty space outside for walking and playing with your doggies.

HOPE TO HEAR FROM YOU SOON!

Keywords: Cozy, Homey, Comfortable, Convenient Location, Close to town, Close to Rocky Mountain National Park, Close to hiking, close to Mary's Lake for fishing, picnicking, wading.

PERFECT STAY...IMMACULATE...AMAZING VIEWS !!

  • 5 of 5

Estes Valley Cottage is simply a FABULOUS place to stay !! First off, this lovely home is IMMACULATE.....and we are very, very picky. The home has so many unique furnishings...that even after several days we were still discovering new unusual "treasures". And then the BEAUTIFUL DECK.....three-quarters of the home is surrounded by a deck....all sides with a different and gorgeous view. We were so fortunate to meet the owner, Jane, on the first afternoon we arrived. She is so friendly, helpful and interesting... and she will do whatever she can to make sure you have the best stay possible. She maintains dozens of flowers and plants all over the deck and grounds and it is so relaxing to just kick back and ENJOY the serenity and beauty of the area. The views overlooking Mary's Lake and all the surrounding mountains are AMAZING. If you are a birder....you may never want to leave because there are numerous and varied birds that you can appreciate from the living room and the deck. Then the location is PERFECT.....it is close to Estes Park for dining, groceries, and shopping....but far enough away to feel you are in the "country" and not too close to the hustle & bustle of downtown. And it is also close (maybe 3 miles or so) to the Rocky Mountain National Park and all the spectacular sites and animals to enjoy there. We stayed at this cozy and luxurious home for 9 nights.....and were wishing we could have stayed longer!! We also thank Jane SO MUCH for allowing us to bring our little dog with us...Lexi really enjoyed her stay too !! We have stayed in several VRBO/Homeaway homes.....and this one was our favorite by far !! We certainly want to return to this area and if we do, we will definitely be staying at the Estes Valley Cottage again!! WE LOVED IT !! THANK YOU JANE FOR SHARING YOUR VERY SPECIAL HOME WITH US !!

Absolutely Perfect!

Jane

My family and I cannot thank you enough for sharing your beautiful home. It had all the amenities of home and the views were absolutely stunning! My husband and I commented that out of all the places we have rented thru VRBO, your home made us feel most comfortable as if we were home. We loved that we were at most trailheads within 10 minutes from your location and if you took the back way to the park, you could avoid all the traffic in downtown Estes. Not to be mistaken, we did take one evening and head into town to walk around the lovely shops and eat at a local restaurant. Most of the time however, we would drive thru town on our way back from a hike (around 3:00 p.m.) and the traffic was less crazy and the restaurants were easier to get into with a party of 6. We loved having our morning coffee and breakfast on the deck watching the sun rise, so peaceful and serene, and the perfect start to every day.

Thanks again for such a memorable first visit to Colorado! We loved every minute of it!

Sincerely,

Ken & Debbie Smith (& Family)

As many have said, the pictures don't do it justice.

  • 5 of 5

A wonderful week at Estes Valley Cottage. A lovely home with all the amenities you are used to at home. Clean, comfortable, and in a lovely setting. We were out and about hiking early every day except the last two, and there was rain. However, it didn't dampen our enjoyment. Setting and looking out at the clouds, and the mountains was so restful. Jane was a kind and attentive host, and we thank her for it. We had a great time watching the lama and elk next door (no noise or odor). A great place to spend a week....or more.

Beautiful retreat!

  • 5 of 5

We fell in love with this sweet cottage from the moment we walked onto the wrap around porches filled with beautiful flowers and lots of tucked away seating. The inside is spotlessly clean and is decorated with beautiful furnishings and antiques. The master bathroom is something straight out of a spa! The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to whip up delicious meals and there is a nice propane grill on the deck. Opening the doors and windows to just breathe in the mountain breezes is just incredible here. But nothing compares to the spectacular view of the mountains and the lake. And, the cottage is only minutes away from RMNP. We can't wait to book our next trip.

The Whole Package

  • 5 of 5

My family and our little dog had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and immaculate home! We particularly enjoyed the breathtaking scenery from the comforts of the wrap-around deck. While the online pictures are certainly lovely, they simply cannot do justice to the phenomenal views of the mountains AND Mary's Lake. One must experience them in person! The llama and elk farm next door was an added bonus. It was fun to watch the animals (including the wild elk that wandered into the yard). Overall, the setting of the house was perfect, as we loved being a part of nature while also being so close to downtown Estes Park.

Jane is a fantastic hostess, and we very much enjoyed meeting her upon our arrival. It was easy to see that she takes great pride in her beautiful home. My family and I have stayed in many other places in Estes Park during our annual visits, and we feel as though we have found a true gem in Estes Valley Cottage. In the past, it has been a bit stressful to find the "perfect" house that is clean (as we admittedly have very high standards in this regard), conveniently located, and dog-friendly. Estes Valley Cottage is the whole package. We will be returning again next summer!!!

Estes Valley Cottage

Thank you very much Ms. Fox for allowing my family to stay in your beautiful home for an extended weekend to celebrate the Super Bowl (Yay, Broncos!) and my son and brother's birthdays! Your house was very clean, full of all necessities and had the top of the line appliances and was beautifully decorated! The only complaints that I heard was that the beds were not all that comfortable and were small. On a good note, your 60" television was PERFECT to watch the Super Bowl on which was a huge demand of my husband! :) We all agree that we would definitely consider staying at your house again and/or recommend it to others.

Thanks again,

The LeDoux's and Sterkel's

Owner's Response: You and your family picked a great way to celebrate 2 birthdays and Super Bowl 50! !!GO BRONCOS!! I am so happy you chose Estes Valley Cottage for your family gathering. Thank you for all the nice things you said about my property. You mentioned that the beds were too small and uncomfortable. The property description describes each bed accurately as follows: “There is a queen pillowtop bed in the master bedroom with 50” flatscreen TV. There is a pillow top full bed in the second bedroom and the third bedroom has a full bed with a comfort topper. A gueen Aero Bed is available.” Each bed has a brand new down comforter, Macy’s brand - and new sheets from Macy’s as well. All new this season. The queen bed has an electric mattress pad to warm up the bed before you get in. The mattresses are well known brand names. One gentleman said in his review of Estes Valley Cottage on VRBO , “The 3 bedrooms all very comfortable and had great mattresses.” I appreciate all your comments and will try to improve things as time goes on and finances make it possible. I do try my best to be sure my guests are comfortable and cozy. Hope you can see that every effort is made to make your visit the best it can be. Please come again and enjoy summer time in Estes!
