Non- smoking, Located across the street from the famous Magic Sands Beach. Equipped with all the comforts of home, plus a huge lanai with a table for al-fresco dining to make you feel like you're dining in your own private tropical paradise! Two bedrooms, master bedroom has a cal-king bed with bathroom, guest has a king bed with bathroom just outside of the bedroom, plus airbeds for your extra guest., Full sized washer/dryer in unit. DVD, bluetooth speaker for music, 2 flat screen TV’s, WIRELESS INTERNET with printer/fax (no computer provided). Comfy living room furniture, with flat screen tv. Both bathrooms recently remodeled with granite countertops. Condo complex has a pool, jacuzzi, pool table, sauna, gas grills, tennis courts. Shopping only 1 mile away. Beach only 20 seconds away!!

Quiet Condo Complex: White Sands Village complex is very quiet and well maintained. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and include a pool, jacuzzi, gas grills with covered BBQ/dining area by pool, game room with pool table and library, and 4 tennis courts. Beaches across the street and 1 mile south. Great snorkeling!

Big Island Activities: The Big Island is host to many golf courses, the golf enthusiast will be in heaven!! Ocean activities galore include Scuba, snorkeling, swimming, surfing, boogie boarding, jet-skiing, deep-sea fishing and great people-watching beaches. For the adventurous, you can park and hike the old lava by the ocean (SO incredible!!), rent bikes and get some exercise while taking in the sights (there's even an electric bike rental adventure for those feeling a little lazy, but still adventurous), parasailing over the ocean, renting some "chopped" scooters and scoot yourself through the town, horseback riding or ATVing in the fabulous and unique Waipio Valley,or take a trip to the volcano. The list is endless and only limited by you.

Glorious Big Island: The Big Island is a relaxing, romantic and wonderful paradise. There's something for every person and every age. Kona is sunny almost every day, but even when it rains, it's warm! There's always something going on in Kona, many festivals throughout the year, lots of music nightly in town, and all the outdoor adventure you can imagine. From the couch potato to the sports enthusiast, for the romantic honeymoon or a family vacation or a wedding on the beach, this is a great place!

About Penny

My husband, Bill, and I live here on the Big Island just seconds away from the condo with our dogs. We spend a lot of time at the beach across the street, and also on our bikes, paddle boarding, and enjoying all the island has to offer. We spent 24 years in Anchorage, Alaska, but have owned the condo here for many years, so we enjoyed being able to spend time in both places.

Why Penny chose Kona Coast

I love White Sands Village because I love the beach across the street and the aloha here on this particular island. I also love the location of these condos, just out of the mainstream of town, but still on the main 'drag' of Alii Drive. The buildings are concrete, so you never hear noises from upstairs. The community here is lovely, and waking up to sunshine and birds singing is the BEST!

Our landscaping is beautiful and you can choose from beach or pool, because both are available within seconds. Our condo is centrally located, clean and modern with many amenities (check out the reviews from our renters!) and situated across the street from one of only 3 swimmable beaches here in Kona. We are located 3 miles south of the popular boardwalk shops, and one mile south is another shopping area with restaurants and a movie theater. There's a town trolley that runs through town for $2 per person that can also transport you through town, and taxis are also readily available.

What makes this condo unique

The Big Island is so versatile. I can't imagine anyone coming here and not finding something (or nothing) to do that tickles their fancy. I've decorated the condo to reflect what the island feels like to me. The colors in the condo reflect sunset and the volcano lava, and decor is casual and relaxing, so the time spent inside still reflects the time spent outside. I love having coffee on the lanai and enjoying the birds and the quiet and the warmth that seems to give you the relaxation and peace that everyone should experience here on the island. Aloha spirit is what my condo is about, and for everyone to relax, enjoy and unwind.

We loved that there was all the amenities of home there. The were things to take to the beach so we didn't have to buy them. Plenty of towels for the five of us. All we did was buy some food and we were set for the week. The beds were comfortable. It was great to have AC since it was HOT that week. Everything was very clean. At night we would hit the hot tub and use the swimming pool. We will go back again. We also loved that the parking was close to our place and it was nice that there was two spots. We only used it when my daughter's friend came to visit. She is a local.

We have already told others about it.

Beautiful, very clean, spacious and good location

We're a family of 5 and we stayed here for 6 days. This condo is very spacious, clean, good location and really feels like home. It even comes with 2 parking spaces which is good since we had a rental van.. The beds are so comfortable, better than what I have at home. Having a full size washer and dryer is a big plus too. Also, it has everything I need for cooking. We loved having our meals at the lanai which has a good size table and plenty of chairs. The lanai ceiling fan makes our meal comfortable even in the middle of summer. The beach is just across the complex and we love to watch the sunset from there. We had the best sunset experience when we were there, nothing obstructing the sun except the sea horizon. Since we have a rental van , we've been able to explore the island. For this vacation, we went to Oahu, Maui and Big Island and Big Island is our favorite. The owner, Penny was very nice and treated us like family. If ever we would be back to this island, we would definitely stay at this place. We highly recommend this condo for great location and awesome accomodation. This place made our Big Island experience really special.

Amazing Stay

Excellent Condo, Awesome location and on top of that owner, Penny, is very helpful and accommodating.

She provided extra beach chairs upon request and also lent us the cooler for couple of days with no charge.

Condo has everything that one would need for the stay and is right across the beach..

Overall, definitely would stay again here for my next visit :)

Wonderful condo and "home away from home"

My husband and I had a fantastic stay at Penny's condo. This was our second time in the condo (staying for a month), and we would not think of going anywhere else on the Big Island. The pool and barbecue facilities on the property were lovely. The 2 bed/2bath condo has updated bathrooms and comfortable king bed(s). We loved the large balcony and the convenience of internet and a printer. Penny was immediately responsive to any questions or minor issues. She lives nearby and was always accessible. The location across from the beach was fantastic. We highly recommend this property.

Fantastic well equipped condo

Thanks so much for sharing your lovely condo with us. It was very well equipped and nice and clean. It was so accessible to the beaches and a short drive into town and all the major shops and stores. Close enough but also far enough from all the hustle and bustle of the Ironman activity. We had a great time and everything worked well and the fans, aircon and facilities were great. Lovely to be so close to a wonderful beach for snorkelling and we swam with turtles which was a highlight of the trip! Great value for money! Thanks again!

Magic Sands!

Peggy was responsive and easy to work with. The condo was quiet (love concrete buildings)! Pool was clean and the kids loved it. The best part was the location! Magic Sands Beach just across the street... We spent hours there, every day 🌺 We'll rent this condo again! Mahalo!!
