The St. Maarten is one the newest properties on Daytona Beach Shores. This almost 2000 square foot, sunny, open 6th floor unit show-cases panoramic views of the intercoastal waterway, Daytona 500 Speedway, unique architecture, and, of course, the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. The World famous Daytona Beach is just minutes away with oceanfront shopping and attractions for everyone. This property is Centrally located for easy access to major airports, attractions in Orlando and St. Augustine.

This three bedroom unit is our vacation home, and very comfortably furnished in a casual beach meets Pottery Barn style. A fully-equipped kitchen with granite counters and outdoor dining area too. The large master suite with ocean views and soaking tub give a spa feeling, ready for relaxation. Enjoy amazing sunsets, sunrises too for the early birds, and weekend fireworks, all from the circular balcony.

With this also being our home-away-from-home we have made it walk-in ready to enjoy. A family friendly vacation or a romantic get away, is waiting for you.Minimum rental periods apply.

Randy & Donna have lived in central Florida a lifetime. Growing up vacationing in the areas beaches & going to the races. We are hands on owners & keep our home stocked with most everything needed to & have a great vacation. We have many renters that return yearly to enjoy the beach & surrounding activities, including NASCAR team/business partners.

End unit,quiet & privacy. There is little to no foot traffic or elevator noise in front access/bedrooms area of the unit. Natural light & wrap around windows vs dark tunnel like feel of center units,requiring lights on most of day. Extremely clean, personally managed & cared for. We are available 24/7 to take care of any issue or concern that may arise. We are close enough to use our home frequently, not just as rental property. We Have owned the property since construction & have vacationed in Daytona since childhood.

What makes this condo unique

Wrap around windows,lots of natural light & spectacular views of the ocean, city & river. Fireworks shows from the balcony & beautiful night views of the city,when the ocean view goes dark at night.

Absolutely Beautiful - Great place to stay

We arrived at St Maarten a day early and we were able to check in a day early,, which was nice. The owners (the Koons) were great, they called the next day to ensure everything met our expectations. The unit was spacious, beautifully decorated and well maintained. We had absolutely no problems and treated it as though it was our own home. The unit had everything we could possibly need and more. St Maarten is a wonderful resort and fits our wants and needs. if you're looking for a nice unit, please give this one a try.....you won't be dissapointed!

Great Place To Stay

Really enjoyed our stay, there was space for everyone, wonderful master bed & bath, especially loved the kitchen, had lots of dishes and cookware.

The only thing missing was Wi-Fi in the unit; definitely would go back.

I would like to start out by commenting on the previous review from Ohio. The Ohio review could not be further from the truth! This condo was beautiful!!! The owners of the unit were top notch and so kind to meet our every request. The unit was spacious, decorated lovely, updated, and very clean. The view of the ocean and the street side views made us feel like we were in a home and not in a dark tunnel. We also had family staying in several condos in St. Maarten and this condo was of equal or better quality than the other units. We treated the condo as we would have liked to have our own home treated and had NO PROBLEMS GETTING OUR ENTIRE SECURITY DEPOSIT RETURNED. We had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay and will rent again from this owner when in Daytona Shores Beach. If you are looking for a beautiful place, look no further...THIS IS IT!! The rest of the building's amenities are top notch also and the place is very quiet. We absolutely loved this place!

Do not stay here!

The following is all imho: do not rent this condo! Your deposit will be kept for petty reasons and without proof of claimed damages! (The place looked as nice when we left it as it did when we came in--we aren't talking about a pristine property either.) The glaring irony that justifies my anger is that the leather headboard of the king bed in the master suite looked as if acid had been spilled down one side when we checked in. I would say that someone else was charged for those damages, but the bed clearly hadn't been fixed or replaced. This makes my blood boil because those of us who rented this condo feel like we were charged over $400 for the owner to pay normal cleaning/upkeep fees on our dime. She had to repaint the walls because of a chocolate handprint (unproven--but really?? repainted??) and to pay for extra cleaning in the kitchen (at $50 an hour) because the counters were dirty and dirty dishes were left in the dishwasher (per the checkout directions), and extra carpet cleaning because food was on the carpet (unproven) when the instructions clearly said there was to be no food on the carpet--well, where else were we supposed to eat when the DINING TABLE IS ON THE CARPET?! We felt set up for losing money at the end.

Bottom line: this condo costs the same amount to rent as other St. Maartens condos. Rent another one! OTHER CONDOS actually view the ocean, have tile floors for easy cleanup, have better furniture, and nicer owners. Of the ten+ condos our family has now rented from St. Maarten, this was the poorest in quality and the only in which we've lost some of our deposit.

The condo is dingy and mismatched, not very appealing; beds are uncomfortable; closet doors are difficult to open and close (and are on the verge of breaking--I'd hate to be the tenant when they do go out!); instructions for checkin/checkout aren't congruent with real expectations; deck is a waste of time (faces pool of another property); VHS players are a joke but you'll be charged for stealing tapes (unproven--who wants to watch a Spongebob VHS tape at the beach?); and you will not be able to relax and have a good time because the owner will call and make sure you're taking care of the place and patronize you until you feel like you should walk on eggshells instead of enjoy your vacation. Worst part: your deposit is at the whim of an unreasonable owner.

St. Maarten is a good condo facility and we will come back, but we will NEVER rent from this person again.

Owner's Response: I am a little confused by this review, as it is contradictory to the verbal feedback I received from the couple who actually rented the unit & signed the rental/standards agreement. Expressing how nice the unit was & what a fun & relaxing time they were having. They had called me to ask where the hot water breaker was & where the key, was to go upon checkout. This information is noted in the unit info.& checkout instructions. I do not contact my renters on their vacation unless there is a building or manager issue they need to be aware of. No doors/closet issues,the above mentioned headboard will be repaired, it was not damaged by anyone or acid,but due to sea/salt air & humidity(it's the beach). No ones deposit was charged.We do have vcr's, dvd & blue ray player w/an all ages video library for use, However we do not want them removed from our home. Our Vrbo listing notes "panoramic view" this is only possible due to the front side location. Lots of natural light, direct ocean & city views vs only ocean frontage. At night you have sweeping city-lights & weekend fireworks vs only the black hole darkness of the ocean. We have been blessed with great renters & repeaters over the 8 years we have owned it since construction. Only on 2 occasions have we had to deduct fees from a tenant including this rental. We provide a immaculate well furnished home & expect our quests to treat it respectfully. I also make sure our guests have everything they need to care & cleanup should there be a mishap or issue. All units in the St. are individually owned & subject to their own standards for rental. A rental property with no standards for renting may not be in the condition you expect. Be aware that many owners are absentee & often do not really know the condition of their unit unless the have very recently been there. Rental agents & housekeepers rarely inform owners of any damages or issues due to concern of loosing the job or the renter. If extra cleaning is needed they just won't do it & leave it poorly cleaned. We are there prior to your arrival & after your departure to approve checkout, this assures you are getting what was promised. I also hear from both guests & owners about countless issues with/about the condition of a unit they have rented. Great communication, clear expectations & standards are the key to any partnership this includes renting a vacation property. Call us for more info.
