3 Bedroom extra DBL Sofa Bed 1 Bathroom 1 Cloakroom,

Bwthyn Gwymon is a detached house located on Llechii Road, a delightful road close to the centre of the village only 100 yards from the main beach.

The good sized Lounge/Diner is situated on the first floor to take advantage of the spectacular sea views. We have added a brand new handmade Sofa Bed which is very comfy to sit on and to sleep on . The windows run the width of the lounge to give a truly uninterrupted view of the bay and beyond. There is seating for 6 with a freeview TV, DVD Player, wireless broadband, board games and books. The Dining Area has a round table and chairs for a more formal dining experience. The kitchen is modern with an oven, hob, washer/dryer and dishwasher. There is also a breakfast bar and seating. It faces to the rear of the property with a back door and entrance to the large decking area at the side of the property above the garage, again with glorious sea views and table and chairs where you can enjoy a glass of wine watching the kite surfers or indeed the beautiful sunset. There is also a cloakroom with WC and Basin.

Downstairs is a new family bathroom, with bath and shower, two double bedrooms with beautiful nautical style curtains in both double rooms - made locally, one with a king-size bed, one with a double and a bunk room sleeping 2. All bedrooms have built in wardrobes. There is a rear yard which is a natural sun trap, with a tap and hosepipe available and stairs giving a second point of entry to the decking area. There is a drive and a paved area to the front of the property.

The property has full central heating and a gas fire in the lounge. Gas hot water heater provides constant hot water on demand. Bed linen is provided. Strictly No Smoking in the property. Pets considered.

About Sam Edwards

James Edwards has been visiting Rhosneigr since his childhood. His parents bought this house in 1999 as he loved the area so much and he and his wife Sam bought the property from them in 2007 when it became too much for them.

Sam and James and their children Jake & Elle have enjoyed countless holidays here along with Family members who love the place so much they bring their own friends to experience the special Rhosneigr holiday. The family live in Winchester in Hampshire with their dog Max, who also loves Rhosneigr and the many sea birds he can chase on the beach!

The property is very close to the beach and bars and restaurants, and the view is just spectacular.

What makes this house unique

Whats obviously unique about the house is the fact that it is upside down so you can gaze out to sea from the comfort of your sofa.. it adds an extra bit of fun to our holiday house.

The decking over the garage is an amazing spot to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sun sink down into the sea. priceless!

Just got back from a great week staying in Bwthyn Gwymon in Rhosneiger. (We had great weather which did help!)

The house is in a great spot a few yards from the beach and only a couple of minutes walk from the village centre. (A few small shops, cafe's and a couple of pubs)

Major supermarkets at Holyhead just down the road, about 20 minutes drive.

With the lounge and decking being on the first floor the view over the beach and onto Holy Island is truly fantastic. Sunsets are amazing !!

The house is very clean , modern and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen.

Rhosneiger is a great spot for families with children or just couples with a dog as they will both love the fantastic beach which seems to go on for ever, low tide revealing small rocky outcrops and shallow pools.

Then of course there is the water sports aspect as well, when the wind gets up out come the Kite and windSurfers.

The walk around the lake is really nice, cross over the road and return via the beach (or the Oystercatcher for a small refreshment!!)

The jets from RAF Valley are an added bonus if like that type of thing - I loved it !

Getting to Rhosneiger is so easy now with the new A55, I remember having to cross the island on the old A5 a few years ago.

To sum up, if you want a nice house, small quiet location with a fantastic beach, you won't go far wrong here.

Lovely clean and modern holiday home with everything you need to make your stay pleasant and the views are amazing! Good local shop, pubs, take aways, restaurant and the beach are all in short walking distance making this an ideal place to stay. Very dog friendly! The owner is very helpful and will answer any queries quickly by message giving you peace of mind to just enjoy your holiday. I would highly recommend this holiday properly *****

Enjoyed by adults, child and dogs! Lovely home, beautiful views of beach, peaceful and fab location. House had everything we wanted, well equipped and beach! Look forward to returning soon. Fabulous property, breathtaking views, walking distance to beach and amenities

The property itself had everything and more. Even a pair of binoculars to enjoy the views which was fantastic for my dad as he struggles walking any distance, he sat for ages on the comfey sofa enjoying the kite surfers and jets flying from RAF Valley. Also the upstairs toilet was a god send for him. the kitchen had a good array of cooking utensils available, not that I did a lot of cooking, especially with a fantastic chip shop and crepery around the corner.

Nothing was to much trouble for the owners, we had a blip with the heating, which was sorted literally within seconds of texting them.

Perfect (extremely close to!) beach property

This was our third stay in this house and we are already booked in for next year. We are a family of five and this house, its proximity to the beach and Rhosneigr itself make for an amazing, chilled out, seaside holiday. It is an upside down house with the living room on the upper floor. It has windows the full length of the room allowing you to take advantage of the beautiful views of the beach. There are usually people kite surfing and it's really relaxing to sit in the house and look out the window or if the weather is good (and it seems to be often in Rhosneigr!), you can sit out on the wooden balcony that wraps around the back and side of the house. We have enjoyed some amazing sunsets with a glass of prosecco on the balcony. The house is very well equipped and the owner rapidly responds if contacted and was happy to take suggestions on board such as purchasing a travel cot and highchair when we asked about these on our first visit. As a previous reviewer has said, the beach is about a minute from the house. This is fantastic for us with three little ones as you can always nip back to the house easily. The beach is clean and has lots of rock pools which the kids love. Rhosneigr "town centre" is about three minutes walk away and has good places to eat including Sullivan's which does great food and friendly service. There are also a couple of surf shops, a Fat Face, an ice cream parlour and gorgeous gift shop so plenty if you fancy a wander round but not too large and touristy. And lastly, but importantly, the wifi in the house is good!

We highly recommend this holiday house and can't wait to be back next year. Thanks again, Sam for a wonderful holiday!

Rhosneigr village is situated on the beautiful west coast of Anglesey, North Wales. It has a thriving community and a rich history. Award winning sandy beaches with rock pools and safe bathing. Llyn Maelog, a large lake just outside the village, is rich in bird life and fish. Unspoilt countryside stretches for miles inland with magnificent views of the Snowdonia Mountains and Lleyn Peninsular. Rhosneigr has become a windsurfing and kitesurfing mecca attracting enthusiasts from all over Britain. Even for those not participating it is huge fun to watch! Rhosneigr is also home to Anglesey Golf Club.

There are countless walks to be enjoyed within walking distance of the property most including a stop at one of the excellent Bars and Restaurants Rhosneigr has to offer.

Our particular favourites are the Oyster Catcher and Mo Jo's, both are family orientated and really welcoming.

Venturing further out, Anglesey offers a really enjoyable Go Karting Track, a Sea Zoo, The Butterfly Palace, Copper Mines, SouthStack Lighthouse... (Climb to the top if you can), National Trust Stately Homes and much more.

Portmerion Village, is an hours drive away and well worth a visit. Betws-y-Coed is also about an hour away where you can white water raft, tackle the adventure high ropes or just browse round the lovely quaint shops and bars. We have done all 3 with children and then without as they grew up!
