In the heart of the green valley of Le Caudeau, Fonrouge will delight those who are seeking for nature, tranquillity and the authenticity of a charming house in the Périgord. Located 9 km from Bergerac in Dordogne, town famous for its vineyards or Monbazillac and Pécharmant, is this old Gallo-Roman villa with a long history. The guests of Fonrouge will mix relaxation and culture. Fonrouge is located at the edge of a small stream and will welcome you with 4 bedrooms (2 double with large 140 cm bed, 1 double with 2x90 cm beds and 1 with single bed), 1 bathroom, 1 shower room, 2 toilets, a large living space with fireplace, a large fully fitted kitchen and for children and adults, a beautiful pool not overlooked opening onto the nature. 5 minutes away from Fonrouge, you will find the shopping area of Creysse with a hypermarket “Intermarché”, a shop “La Vie Claire” pour organic product lovers, games for children, a petrol station, etc. Between Bergerac and Fonrouge, there is a hypermarket “Leclerc”. There is a shop with bread deposit 4 km away in Lembras. All the guests of Fonrouge have been seduced by its charm and its location close to everything. We are waiting for you here. Resume: comfortable and pleasant 150 m² house on 2 floors. On the garden level: living/dining room with fireplace, dining table and satellite television overlooking the garden. There is a large bedroom with large bed, bay window overlooking the garden and the pool and ensuite shower room. The kitchen with 4-ring hob, oven, dishwasher and microwave opens onto the garden. There is a toilet and a 300 l boiler. On the first floor: bedroom with double bed, bedroom with 2x90 cm beds, bedroom with 90 cm single bed, bathroom and separate toilet. There is a garden with patio furniture and 6 chairs. Facilities: washing machine, tumble dryer and iron. House/residence: Lamonzie Montastruc is 9 km from Bergerac. It is a nice comfortable renovated country house from Fonrouge dating back from the 17th century and surrounded by trees and meadows. It is outside the resort in a quiet area, 10 m from the edge of the woods, 50 m from the stream and in the countryside. There are private 2000 m² grounds with lawn, trees, pool (10x5 m, depth 170 cm, from 30/04 to 29/09), terrace, garden furniture and barbecue. You can access it by car (300 m via unmade road). You can park by the house. There is a shop 5 km away, a supermarket 9 km away, a restaurant 3 km away, a golf course 8 km away and riding stables 7 km.

French and English families who want to rest while practicing sport or cultural activities will particularly love this house (read the guest book).

Brilliant holiday home, wonderful secluded location but close to Bergerac and on the best side for the airport. Spacious accommodation, can't believe it is limited to 7 persons as could easily accommodate 10. Kitchen is well fitted out with every conceivable implement supplied. Pool was perfect depth, size and temperature. There is not a single negative. Owner was lovely and very helpful. 5 stars aren't enough for this place.
