Great Duplex in downtown Tucson!
The property is centrally located in the heart of Tucson on a quiet side street. Everything that Tucson offers (and there's plenty!) is available no matter which side of the city you want to see.
The duplex has a rear patio that has privacy walls, a pergola, wrought-iron table and chairs. Perfect for a morning coffee or an afternoon beverage. Both front and back yards are landscaped with plants reflecting the desert environment which is part of Tucson.
The interior is nicely decorated, with original artwork and various wall decor, also well suited to the southwest.
This is the second time we have rented from this owner and have been well-pleased each time.
Great oasis in central Tucson
This cute little early-50's duplex has a beautiful, fully fenced back courtyard with a pergola-shaded wrought-iron table & chairs, BBQ, desert plants and landscaped area, and solitude. The cottage itself is fairly basic, but well decorated, with pretty much everything you need except for, maybe, a dishwasher. It was perfect for the two of us, our beloved dog, and for a weekend, a sister-in-law, who slept comfortably on the hide-a-bed pull-out couch.
It's within walking distance of the Sun-Trans trolley line, and the university, and an easy drive to grocery and all other shopping. The neighborhood is good for walking in the evening, and feels safe.
We liked it so much that we've already re-booked for next year!
The property is located within 5 minutes drive of most daily conveniences, leisure shopping, and service needs. Some of Tucson's favorite restaurants are within walking distance.
Tucson is in the Sonoran Desert's northern reaches. Its higher altitude provides slightly more rainfall & is therefore greener than the Phoenix deserts. Tucson is surrounded by mountains always visible wherever you are.
