Couldn't be more perfect!
Wonderful location, very clean, extremely well equipped, spacious condo. Perfect for our group of 21-25 year olds. The owner is very helpful and very quick with email responses. Absolutely will be visiting again. Thanks for a perfect vacation!
The place was great!
The place was great! It was comfortable, clean, and perfect for a weekend stay.
Great place. Clean, cozy, on River, near town. We will be back again.
Cozy winter getaway
My family and I stayed there last weekend and had a wonderful time. We have rented many homes and this was by far the cleanest home we have stayed in. There is ample room and it had a beautiful fireplace. The location was perfect for us. While some of our family was skiing we were able to experience some of the local flavors of Vermont. We will definitly visit again. Thanks Biergit for sharing your winter getaway with us!
Tell condo experience
My husband and I spent the weekend at the River House in October and found it to be an excellent place to stay. The condo was very clean, well equipped and very spacious, yet the fireplace made it feel warm and cozy.It is located in a beautiful rural area with the river running through the back of the property.AWESOME!It is also close to many amenities such as restaurants, stores, skiing and even a movie theater. We found the restaurants in the area served delicious fresh food which took a while to prepare but were worth the wait!I also had a massage at MadRiver Massage and will go back again.Next time we go,if it's winter we'll try skiing-if it's spring we will definetly be checking out the ziplining!
The owners were a dream to work with and when they found out that it was our 30th anniversary they left us a bottle of wine with a 'Happy 30th' note.Nice personal touch! They also left a detailed instruction booklet that answered any questions you might have about the use of the condo.
We look forward to going back...again and again!
Homebase for Norwich University Family Weekend
Our son is a "Rook", first year cadet at Norwich University in Northfield, VT. We were looking for a location where my husband, daughter, sister & brother-in-law could enjoy time with our rook. This condo was great for us, only 20-25 min over Roxbury Mtn to Norwich. The well equipped kitchen was a big plus because my son wanted some "homecooked" meals & apple pie! The views were beautiful along the(tame at the time) Mad River. The condo was clean & comfy & the owner was terrific to work with. She even sent us information on the area. The only negative is that the 2nd bedroom, 2nd bath & bunkroom are extremely tight spaces. It wasn't a big issue for us but if you plan on spending alot of time in those rooms it might be. Hope to return for the next 3 years.
