'Casa Biscotti' is a lovely comfortable home furnished to a high standard with a beautiful uninterrupted view of the sea from the balcony. The house is within walking distance of the town centre of Stintino which is a delightful fishing village full of history, cafes, bars and a fine selection of restaurant catering for all tastes. Nestled on the northern coast of Sardinia, Stintino is the perfect location to explore this often wild but always captivating environment.
The house has a light, airy and contemporary feel. The master bedroom has a king size bed with views to the sea and few things compare to seeing the sunrise from your bed ! The second bedroom fitted with full size single beds. Both bedroom are specious and have plenty of storage
The ground floor is mostly open plan. There is ample space to eat either inside or out and a comfy lounge area for relaxing at the end of the day.
There is a modern kitchen with hob, oven, fridge, freezer and, in the utility room, a washing machine.
There are balconies to the front and rear which are ideal for all day sunbathing and a terrace which is a delight for having breakfast and an evening BBQ. Local fish and meat is exceptional and certainly worth experiencing.
The national park of Asinara (an island off the northern tip that is visible from Stintino) is a wildlife haven and boasts some of the best diving in the area
The main towns of Alghero - which is a must and absolutely steeped in history (great for lunch), Porto Torres and Sassari are less than an a hour away and offer a huge selection of shops, restaurants and cafe's.
Grocery shops are all available in Stintino and are easily walkable from the house.
We bought the house in 2004 with the view of having a little piece of paradise away from the world that we could enjoy peace and tranquility yet not be a million miles from the nearest restaurant. Stintino was never on the radar at all until we arrived there. It has a unique quality that offers the best of both worlds in having a variety of restaurants and yet the ability to very easily be on your own. It really is a rather unique place that has to be experienced to really understand. We love the place and make sure that we're always there a couple of times a year to just recharge the batteries and soak up the atmosphere.

This is great house. We've found that it caters for all needs. With just the two of us it's a great romantic get away. With the kids the beaches at Pelosa and La Saline offer an amazing but safe beach holiday and even the grandparents come out to enjoy the sun and laid back atmosphere.
We had such a good time at Casa Biscotti last year that this year we booked three weeks and felt comfortable enough to be joined by our eight year old granddaughter for the final week. The excellent accommodation has been improved with new outside furniture and the installation of two full-sized single beds in the second bedroom. The panorama from the main bedroom's balcony is a delight and an ideal spot for breakfast. Stintino is a picturesque town with a good selection of restaurants. We particularly like the Skipper Bar and Lu Fanali's but there are others that are worth trying. There is a good selection of shops in the town and this year we only made one trip to the Auchan hypermarket in Sassari. The famous beach at La Pelosa is only a short drive away. La Saline is usually quieter and the Town Beach is handy. There are other little coves to find and explore. We look forward to returning again.
Just returned from a wonderful week at Casa Biscotti and wishing we were back there already! The house is just as beautiful as the photos; light, spacious and comfortable, it really is a gem of a place and we're so glad to have found it! We booked a last minute 'Babymoon' and the owner Sarah was amazing; so kind, helpful and straight forward that it really added to the experience. She arranged a transfer for us from the airport which was much cheaper than any I'd found online (we were arriving late so no buses were running) and the lady who picked us up kindly did some shopping for us so we had essentials available that night. The house itself is a great size, immaculately clean - the living room and kitchen area is spacious and relaxing, with the added bonus of a downstairs loo and a great little balcony to the back which is a complete suntrap and we spent many an afternoon just sitting there getting some rays. The main bedroom is lovely, with beautiful views out to sea from the bed and another lovely balcony to enjoy a sunny breakfast. The bathroom was great and the spare bedroom was a good size too. I can't speak highly enough of the owner and this wonderful place - it had everything we needed and more for a very relaxing holiday. Being 5 months pregnant we weren't wanting to do lots so being able to wander into the quaint little Stintino harbour each day was great - it's about a 15 minute walk to the main area with all the restaurants and shops and even at 5 months pregnant I managed this twice a day. Stintino is lovely, there's some great restaurants serving amazing food (helpfully recommended in the owners guide at the house), we had the most unbelievable ice-cream every day from the hosts favourite gelataria - it's out of this world! There's somewhere new to eat every day and the pasta and pizza are just superb. We caught the bus to La Pelosa beach (10mins, 2 Euro each) which was predictably rammed but worth a visit and very pretty, and took the bus to Le Seline beach (10 mins, 2 Euro each), which was also a nice day out. You can get around without a car as the bus service is regular however a car would give you more freedom to explore the little coves nearby. We also took the bus to Alghero on our last day. All in all we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend the beautiful Casa Biscotti and wonderful owner - thank you for such a lovely Babymoon, we hope to go back again in the future xx
With just a short 45 minute drive from the airport we quickly felt at home in this lovely comfortable house in Stintino. With beautiful sunrises from the main bedroom window and a few metres walk from a friendly restaurant our family of 3 had a very enjoyable 2 weeks. We had Le Saline beach recommended by Sarah the owner and with a 5 minute drive away it became a regular favourite of ours with good amenities and great for swimming. Our 7 year old easily made friends despite the language barrier. Quite a bit to do in the area including Alghero, Neptune Caves and a trip on a narrow gauge railway down to Bosa Marina (an early rise and a 1.5 hour drive to the station at Macomer but well worth it for train fans!). Our biggest highlight was an 8 hour Catamaran trip to Asinara Island. Professional friendly crew with the sails up and a cooling breeze against your skin. Wonderful end to a wonderful trip. Highly recommended
We thoroughly enjoyed our May fortnight in Casa Biscotti. The stay was very efficiently organised by the helpful owners and the house was spotlessly clean on arrival. The patio is sheltered and the bedroom balcony provides a lovely sea view beyond the nature reserve. The house provides very comfortable accommodation and we would certainly use it again when we return to the area.
Ci torneremo sicuramente!!
