About Amanda Zolla
My name is Amanda and I have had the pleasure of caring for a lovely woman named Sarah who was injured in a terrible car accident a few years ago. She and her husband John, the owners, built and lived in this beautiful house since 2009. They have recently made the decision to move to San Antonio, TX, to trade in CT winters for a warmer year round climate. Although they are too far away now for me to continue to aide in Sarah's care, I am excited and happy for the opportunity to care for and welcome people into this home built for making memories. Here are a few words from John and Sarah about their home: The house is 8 years old and incorporates all of the energy efficiencies possible at the time it was built; active and passive solar, radiant heat, instant hot water, eight zone heating and air-conditioning control. In addition we installed hardwood or tile floors to minimize allergens. We consciously chose Highland Lake for its pristine water quality, excellent fishing and proximity to world famous arts/culture and year round recreational sport venues. We moved to Texas this fall so this will be the first time we rented the house. We hope you and your families will enjoy this wonderful place as much as we have.

Breathtaking!!!!! The pictures don’t do this place justice
This house was absolutely breathtaking!!! The lake view is amazing!!! We were there in February and it was cold, but that didn’t stop us from taking a walk on the frozen lake and enjoying the hot tub. It was amazing great stay !!!! I’m definitely looking forward to go back next year !!!
We rented this home to celebrate a birthday with four couples and had a wonderful time. It was very comfortable. There are wonderful views of the lake! We really enjoyed the hot tub and spacious kitchen. The town is charming with cute shops and friendly people. Amanda, the property manager, was very helpful and prompt to answer any questions we had. Wonderful birthday weekend!
Fabulous spacious home, Beautiful Views
We stayed at this home with our whole family over Thanksgiving. Very clean, comfortable, and inviting home! Plenty of bedrooms for all to sleep comfortably. The kitchen has two ovens, a cooktop stove, a microwave and two sinks! Plenty big enough to cook a full Thanksgiving dinner. The second refrigerator downstairs was a bonus too.
The view of the lake is spectacular. Would love to return in the warmer weather to enjoy the lake. Instead we went on a fabulous hike nearby.
We were very impressed with the house and the attention to detail by the property manager. Plenty of towels and a towel warmer by the hot tub!
I would love to stay here again!
Spacious, comfortable, clean with a homey feel.
Everyone in our group all loved the house, especially the large kitchen n hot tub. Even though it rain Sat and no one felt like going, there was plenty of space for 12.
We would definitely return. Thanks Amanda for the warm welcome and support from the Sistah Circle
We rented this house with one other family, it was a great property. Amanda was a pleasure to deal with, answered all of our questions and was available the whole week if we had any questions. The open layout on the first floor made it great to cook and all still hang out. The views of the lake were incredible! We did bring a boat with us and we had a blast doing water sports all week. The lake was clear and enjoyable to swim in. We would definitely come back again!
Beautiful and spacious home
Had a amazing time at this property. The property manager is great and was very helpful whenever we needed it. Dock was spacious enough for my families 2 boat and the water is crystal clear. The beach is literally 100 yards down the road and was great for entertaining the little ones. Would highly recommend this property.
