At the heart of the triangle Caen-Bayeux-Courseulles and 5 km from the RN 13

The cottage "Relaxation and Horizons was established in September 2014. This bright and spacious house of 160 m2 is situated in a quiet village and character 16 km from Bayeux, 16 km from Caen, 16 km from the landing beaches (Courseulles, Asnelles ...).

The house is located on a park of 2000 m2 and private parking can accommodate 8 cars.

The cottage is composed:

Ground floor:

A lobby lit by a glass roof where you will find all tourist information of our area. A small regionalist library complete this documentation.

A TV lounge opens onto the park and extends the lobby.

A fully equipped kitchen (combi oven, induction hob, extractor, dishwasher, refrigerator / freezer ...) extended by a dining room that can accommodate 8 to 12 people and an area of ​​30 m2.

A room of 16 m2 with a double bed.

A bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.

A laundry area with a washer and a dryer.

Upstairs :

A large illuminated landing a canopy overlooking the countryside.

Lovely modern house, well stocked kitchen, in a nice quiet country location, the owners were very helpful and went out of there way to make are stay a memorable one.

I would definitely recommend this property for a Normandy vacation.

An excellent holiday home at a good location to explore Normandy

This is a little gem tucked away in the small town of Cully. It is within easy reach of Caen and Bayeaux. It is a good base to explore the beautiful Normandy, with it's history.

The facility is clean, well equipped, and has a large beautiful garden ideal for children to play. You are greeted by Annie and Phillipe, who own the property and live next door. They are very helpful and happy to direct you to the attractions nearby as well as where to find amenities such as supermarkets etc.

The weather was good, and the beach only 25 minutes away. You do need a car though, and should be prepared for the occasional noise of the farm tractors going past in the early morning

All in all, I can assure you of an enjoyable stay. Merci Beaucoup Annie ou Phillipe.

Spacious, well equipped, comfortable, good wifi.

Four of us enjoyed a sunny July week in Annie and Philippe's lovely house. They made us very welcome, with good communications before we arrived and a very friendly welcome on arrival. They live just next door. The holiday house is modern, spacious and clean. The bedrooms are large with comfortable beds, the bathroom facilities are very good. The kitchen and dining room are well equipped. There is a separate lounge/TV area and a useful utility room with washing machine. There is plenty of space outside for sitting in the peaceful countryside. Easy onsite parking. The wifi is very reliable. In terms of location, the house is in a rural village, but close to the main road network and so easily within reach of all of the D-Day beaches, Bayeux and Caen. Slightly further away, but still accessible, is Le Mont St Michel and AJ Hackett's bungy jump. Cherbourg was an easy day trip by train from Bayeux. There is a small supermarket and two bakeries in another village, about 10 minutes away by car. There is a very large supermarket in Bayeux. A very comfortable holiday house in a great location and with friendly hosts. We recommend it!

Maison spatieuse dans une région très varié

On vient de passer la première semaine de paques dans cette belle maison. Une maison bien équipée et très spatieuse. Le grand "parking" a permetté les enfants de rouler leurs bicylettes toute la journée. Une région surprennant avec tellement beaucoup de choses a faire qu'on reviendra sans doute. Merci a Philippe et Annie pour leur acceuil trés chaleureux!

Beautiful house, great location

We recently spent 8 nights in this beautiful area of Normandy. The house accomodated three families, with a total of 4 children aged between 6 months and 5 years, one downstairs bedroom with separate shower and toilet, 3 bedrooms upstairs, one has en suite shower room, there is also separate bathroom upstairs. The house was spotlessly clean, very well equipped kitchen, with microwave etc. Large garden with barbecue and ample outdoor seating for all the family. The owners Annie and Philip live next door, they are very helpful, and house has literature in different languages on local historical sites. The location is rural, quiet with easy access to all Normandy historical sites and beaches, the nearest supermarket is approximately 5 km. This was our first visit to normandy, the weather was exceptional, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this property to others.

Wonderful accomodations!

Four of us from the United States stayed here for six days as our home base for exploring the Normandy area. It was a little difficult to find, but that was our only problem. The owners are charming and helpful and live right next door. The accommodations were perfect and just as described and pictured on the site. The kitchen was very well stocked for those who would choose to prepare their own meals. Any and all appliances, utensils were available. The house is spacious, very modern with both showers and a soaking tub. The central location was wonderful for travel either east or west in Normandy and close to both Caen and Bayeux. If I ever go back to Normandy, I will hopefully be able to stay here again. The first floor bedroom and shower was very convenient for one of our party who has suffered a broken leg and tries to avoid stairs. We also enjoyed the large selection of books and pamphlets on Normandy, D-Day and other area attractions.
