The house is set in a quiet and secure estate with a mountain view from the patio. It is within walking distance to Hout Bay village with access to beach, Hout Bay harbour (small fishing harbour) shops and restaurants. Cape Town being a coastal town can be windy and the property is well protected from the wind with a patio for barbeques. The estate has a swimming pool and tennis court which can be used by tenants. The house has quality furniture and satellite TV, kitchen has all appliances including dishwasher. Three bedrooms and two full bathrooms upstairs (both with shower and bath) and a guest toilet downstairs.
I live in Johannesburg, have 2 teenage children and work as a professional engineer.
This house in Hout Bay is our family holiday home, we just don't get there that often!

One of the best locations in Cape Town - Hout Bay has a village atmosphere and is the ideal base to explore all that Cape Town has to offer including Table Mountain, V&A Water front, Cape Wine routes, beautiful beaches, mountain scenery, restaurants and night life.
For example from Hout Bay drive over Chapmans Peak drive to Cape Point and then on to Simons Town in False Bay.
