The hiking trails well marked and groomed; the views from the cabin are wonderful and peaceful. The peacefulness will lull you to sleep at night.

Wonderfully Quiet Country Spot!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed the Thanksgiving week for a family get together. This house has a big sunny kitchen and a wonderful porch. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you would ever need. The beds were very comfortable. It was nice to have the two bathrooms and the washer and dryer. The house sits in a pretty valley back off of the road so if you have children they can go out to play and be very safe. If you just want to kick back and relax this is the place. If you want to get out and do things in any season within 30-45 minutes there are plenty of activities from skiing in the winter to cruising the many lakes in the summer or antiqueing anytime. We look forward to staying again in the near future!!

Country vacation

  • 4 of 5

We stayed in the property for our family winter vacation. The house is exactly as you see it on the pictures - peaceful and homey . The surrounding is great. The house sits on little hill and we had plenty of snow,so the kids were sledding outside till evening. There is a big fridge and plenty of cookware in the kitchen. You will find everything you need - paper towels, trash bags etc. There is a washer and dryer in the bathroom with lots of towels, soaps and everything else you might need when you away from your home. The owner is very easy to communicate with. All email were answered withing few hours.

We are definitely planning on going back. It is a great place to stay.

Beautiful location and comfortable house

  • 5 of 5

I have gone to a fair number of rentals that I booked through HomeAway. This has to be my favorite place to date. Absolutely beautiful area with plenty of space to run our dogs. In fact, It is the perfect place if you have dogs. There are several nice parks in the area to take a stroll in.

The house was clean and neat when we arrived and very well stocked with all the essentials. Any questions I had were quickly answered by the owner.

I highly recommend South View Farm for a relaxing and quiet vacation.

South View: A Beautiful Place to Stay

  • 5 of 5

From the moment we arrived at South View farm, we were very impressed. The house is nestled on a picturesque rural hillside, and is secluded enough to not have to worry about neighbors. The property is very peaceful, and we enjoyed watching the cows graze near the barn.

The house itself was very clean, and was totally furnished with all the modern ammenities that we could want. The kitchen was especially impressive, with a full stock of cookware, appliances, big refridgerator, and even condiments. It was useful to have the washer/dryer for a long stay, and we were delighted to have the air conditioner during high Summer.

The owner was very quick with communication, and clearly takes good care of the house. I was amazed at the amount of antiques that make up the house furnishings. Both bathrooms were in teriffic shape, and there were plenty of towels and linens available as needed.

We wanted to get away from it all, and this was just the place to do it. I still can't believe how affordable it is! I honestly felt that it was worth the price, and then some. I definately want to stay again someday. Thank you, Nancy!

South View Is Fantastic

  • 5 of 5

A group of friends and I stayed a weekend here and went skiing at nearby greek peak. We had an excellent stay, plenty of country to explore, cows and roosters nearby and plenty of cookware which allowed for us to cook for ourselves all weekend. The owner was great to communicate with and always responded quickly and friendly. We had a great weekend!
