About Kim Huong Pham
I’ve been living in Portland for many years. I’ve seen quite a few changes in Portland. In recent years, Portland is growing fast, and becoming a popular travel destination. I’ve seen Portland change and grow over the years to become a culturally rich city with its uniqueness. Portland is also known as one of the best foodie cities. I like city life in Portland, its diverse cultures with an array of ethnic cuisines. I enjoy the daily life in Portland whether walk to the café for morning coffee, take a walk in the neighborhood park in the evening, or going for a hike at Mt. Tabor with city views or Powell Butte National Park with scenic vistas. I appreciate the splendid of natures that Oregon has to offer when spending a day at the Gorge, snowshoeing on Mt. Hood, or heading to Oregon Coast for the ocean breeze. I enjoy traveling and meeting people and experiencing different cultures and cuisines. I open my home to host when I am in Portland, and I always hope all guests have great experiences in our city and enjoy their stay at our home. Note: A few miles from the guesthouse, Mt. Tabor, a beautiful forested park covering an extinct volcano, water reservoirs, a 360-degree views, along with playgrounds, and walking/running/biking trails; and Powell Butte National Park is a family-friendly natural park with plenty of hiking, biking & equestrian trails among scenic vistas.

Why Kim Huong Pham chose Lents
I grew up in Portland and I’ve been living in Portland for many years, primarily on the east side of Portland. My first home and the school I went to, Franklin High School, are near Mt. Tabor, about 2 miles from the guesthouse. I know the area quite well, the location is very accessible and the housing is affordable; and I also feel that the people here are a little more down to earth.
What makes this Guest House unique

Great Place to Stay!
I enjoyed my stay at the Lents Guest House so much because it was a comfortable home environment! Plenty of kitchen items so we could cook there. Kim made me feel so welcome here, sharing her information about the area, places I haven’t seen and the many restaurants in the area that I wanted to try. The location is perfect for easily getting on and off the freeway for a short commute to the stores I wanted to go to, or to be able to go to the airport which is minutes away. When I had to go downtown, it was a quick 10 minute drive. It is a short walk to the bus stop, in case someone doesn’t have a car. There was plenty of off street parking for my visitors. I’m calling this place my home away from home!
Perfect Guest House
The check in time was flexible. The place was fully furnished and even had a washer and dryer. It was perfect for our week stay in Portland. We had two dogs and there are parks nearby within walking distance which made our lives very easy. The bedroom had an A/C unit which was an absolute MUST! It was over 90 degrees every day but we stayed cool. Kim (our renter) was also very helpful in giving advice on what to do and where to go. I'd recommend this place to anyone, especially with pets.
