Walk to several bay beaches (three within 1/2 mile), views of Wellfleet Harbor. Private and desirable spot on Indian Neck, 4 bedroom, 2 bath. Deck wraps around 3/4 of house. Outdoor shower, fireplace, cable TV, W/D. Close to town, fresh-water ponds, and ocean beaches.
My family rented this home for our annual family vacation this past July, 2016. We always stay on Indian Neck and we love it, and this home was the perfect size and location for us.
Unfortunately the home is outdated and was not clean. We had to sweep, vacuum, wash cook wear/utensils, wipe down counters, etc all before we used them. The house is also older, with some modern updates, but needs some more TLC. There were bugs in almost every room and window - which goes along with an older home, but could have been vacuumed up or cleaned out. And it was hot, older home, (although, we did go during a heat wave), but it was overly warm - there were adequate fans in each room though which helped a little.
One thing that bothered me was that the photos didn't match the actual house. The trees on the deck are majorly over grown and intruded the outside dining area. There was a picture of the room with the twin beds online, and that was definitely not the room. And the water heater broke while we were there (lucky enough to have a plumber in the family so he fixed it).
Overall the house was in an ideal location, if you haven't beached at Indian Neck you must try it, best beaches, water and it's beautiful. But the home left something to be desired, a few improvements and it would be great. A definite diamond in the rough. I would recommend this home, just be prepared.
