The Luxury Seaside Getaway is done in the Provence style with hand cast plaster, faux paining, 10 feet vaulted ceilings and hand-selected antiques giving it both a romantic and European feeling. A reflection of the charm of the days bygone.
The kitchen is a chefs dream, fully equipped with wolf stove, sub zero refrigerator, granite countertops and custom PJ Mulligan cabinetry done in their seafoam green, a local color of the santa barbara area.
The bathroom is immaculate with limestone throughout and large shower for 2 with incredible dual shower heads. It also has a separate Jacuzzi tub that sits below a beautiful piece of stone carved art - the maiden - to relax in after a day at the beach.
The warm living room offers a 36' HD TV with DVD with expanded cable. It also looks out upon a large private encased courtyard complete with Italian fountain, chaise lounges, table and chairs and gas grill. Enjoy the California sun in-between the walks to the beach and town.
And the bedroom offers a king size bed.
Our Seaside Getaway is located in the most desirable location in santa barbara, 2 blocks from the beach, Las Banos public pool, Stearns Wharf, harbor, world-class dining, and downtown shops, including our own local farmers market. We choose this location literally because it is the best. Walk down 2 blocks and you are on the sand and the Las Banos public pool is there. Walk 2 more blocks over and you are at the Wharf and State Street (main stree downtown) - so we are walking distance to all - Others will say they are but you have to walk 1+ miles just to get here. And we offer private reserved parking so you don't have to fight for a spot on the street. Finally we are in a nice residential area, not on a commercial thorough fare or next to the highway or railroad tracks for which some of the vacation rentals literally shake. One golden rule of real estate is location location and we have it.
Glad to discover this well-located Santa Barbara gem. Immaculate, stylish and very chic. Every amenity provided for long or short stay. Gorgeous kitchen and bathroom. Comfortable beds and quiet neighborhood. Safe private parking in back. Charming private patio extends the living area. This apartment is perfect for two but worked for the three in our party with sofa bed.
My husband, myself and our 2 children stayed in this condo for a week at the end of May. I can't say a bad thing about our experience. The condo was clean and well appointed. The kitchen is nicer than most homes. The off site parking is definitely an added bonus. The beach and boardwalk are within walking distance, as are several nice restaurants. The condo is conveniently located near the highway and State St. There are several condos in this property, and I am certain they are all just as nice as this unit. Would not hesitate to stay here again.
Our excellent accomodation at Seaside Getaway added greatly to our enjoyment of Santa Barbara. The apartment was clean, fresh, comfortable and convenient to the beach and local transportation. The private patio was a lovely retreat after our busy days. We will definitely return to this charming place.
Perfect experience- from booking until departure. Melanie was prompt to respond. She provided us with everything you could possibly need to know about Santa Barbara and the wine region. It made our vacation planning a breeze! The rental is lovely- new, fresh, comfortable, cozy and clean. The kitchen is a dream with top quality appliances. You can not beat the location- walking distance to the beach, shopping and restaurants. We are looking forward to returning!
The two of us enjoyed our stay in this beautiful property. We live in a loft condo in NY and felt at home in this attractively appointed and comfortable Santa Barbara condo. Everything was high style and since we cook and eat at home, having this amazing kitchen was a plus. A private space for our washer and dryer was a pleasant surprise. We're hoping to return in 2015.
We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay in this condo. The gourmet kitchen was a delight and the bath luxurious. We took advantage of the private courtyard/patio with barbecue and lounge chairs on more than one occasion. With free parking, free laundry, free Wifi and the ability to make some meals made this condo a very economic option versus a hotel. We would stay here again! P.S. the owner's Melanie and Todd were very responsive to any requests.

Standard method of payment is checks and direct deposits at any Bank of America Branch.
Credit card payment via PayPal and bank wire transfers are also accepted but in these cases the 4% PayPal fee & $25/wire transfer fee are applied.
Cancellation policy - the amount of deposit received is subject to loss, excluding the damage security deposit, unless re-rented for that time period.
