Flowing from the open architecture of the main floor, the kitchen is separated from the main living area by a custom pine breakfast bar. Your favorite tunes fill the air while chefs create, and sous chefs assist at the hand hewn wide pine countertop, which is a testament to the giant trees that once filled our forests. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the requisite pots, pans and utensils to prepare a feast for twenty. Woks, crock pots, pizza stones, etc. complement the traditional sauce pans and cookware. Chances are, that special spice is already there to perfect your meal. The front hallway contains 2 benches on which to sit and remove boots. A custom boot drying rack with built in blowers, a shelf which holds over a dozen pairs of boots and shoes, an upper rack for helmets, and pegs and hooks for gloves, scarves, goggles, makes it easy even for the kids to “put their stuff away”. Enjoy the sweet Sugarbush sunset and the brilliant night sky from the custom wrap around deck

Loved it!

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely loved this home. It had such an amazing Vermont feel and we had so much fun staying there. Michael was a great host - always was there to answer our questions and arrived immediately when we had trouble with the water pressure. The house is great for a big group and is in an amazing location. Highly recommend! We can’t wait to go back!

Great Ski Escape at the "Last Resort"!

  • 5 of 5

We had another great stay at Michael's place -- it keeps us coming back year after year! The guide book that Michael provided made it easy for us to have a hassle-free trip, with local recommendations and FAQ. Refreshing to wake up to some incredible mountain views. Thanks Michael!

Summer experience

  • 4 of 5

Beautiful settiing. Michael communicates well. Easy to work with.

We enjoyed Warren falls and The Warren country store. The drive through Lincoln gap is beautiful as is route vte100. We made a day trip to Smugglers Notch. Also a very scenic trip. We hiked Bingham falls.

We had a camp fire each night and the views of the stars are amazing.

I would recommend for larger groups. The home is well equipped.

Great Ski House for Large Group

  • 5 of 5

Great big ski house that can accommodate a large group of adults or several families. The house is extremely close to the base of Sugarbush and offers spectacular views of the mountain through the dining area. The big table is perfect for a large dinner and the deck is a great place to relax on an nice day. Michael (the owner) is very accommodating so do not hesitate to call him with questions.
