Villa Seriamis is in the centre of Villefranche and has been modernised to the highest standard. It has 3 floors and the biggest swimming pool in Villefranche village. The location is perfect because it faces South, gets the sun in the back most of the day and is only a 1 minute walk to bakery, supermarket, main street etc . Sea views + views across the bay to Cap Ferrat. 8 minute walk to the beach so ideal for children . The train is a short walk and 2 stops from Nice or 6 stops to Monaco. Fully restored with marble and oak flooring throughout, fitted out with top of the range furniture and a Clive Christian kitchen. Huge swimming pool. Garage for 1 car with further parking for 2 cars inside gate. Full WiFi , Sky Satellite TV, 2 bedrooms en-suite, Air Conditioning. Heated salt (gated) swimming pool.
One of the most outstanding villas in on the Cote d'Azur.

Old Villa from Belle Epoque era.: This villa has been completely modernised to the highest possible standard and is very child friendly. It is located in a very secure location overlooking village of Villefranche and bay.
Everything in the villa is new and nicely arranged with all original features retained from 1896 when the villa was built. It is a very unusual diamond shape with very high ceilings , original cornicing, fireplaces, shutters, ironwork etc.
Good sea views: Villefranche is very central to all the exciting areas along the Cote d'Azur. It is located on the coast road between Nice and Monte Carlo and is particularly suitable for children as the station and buses are very close .
Villefranche is a very historic location .... walk along 'Rue Obscure' to get some idea of France in the 14 the century. There are 2 old forts in Villefranche. The Old Town (4 minutes walk) has a bakery, small supermarket, newsagent, pub, many restaurants , art galleries etc. This is not just a tourist village ... most of the occupants live there.
Parking....... Parking outside is in a garage and 2 cars can be parked inside the locked gate.

Owner has restored this villa over a 9 month period . It was a very difficult task because of the unusual layout. Villa has been on Homeaway since 2009
Jonathan Aird purchased this villa in 2008
The villa is a truely 'Belle Epoque' era building with all the usual outside decorations associated with that period
Probably one of the best holidays we ever had. Villa Seriamis was better than advertised and we all fitted in without any overcrowding . Even the baby twins were happy and I felt safe with the barrier deployed by your team. Location was perfect as we did not want to walk far in the heat. The restaurants were all very good and Martin wrote a review on each one (left in the kitchen). Thanks again and we will definitely recommend both the villa and Villefranche
My extended family had a really nice New Year's week stay at Villa Seriamis. It's a beautiful and very atmospheric villa with lots of room for a big group including toddlers.
The location is excellent. The old town of Villefranche-sur-Mer is a 5-minute walk; the train station and beach are 10 or maybe 15 minute walking; there's a boulangerie/patisserie within view; the 81 and 100 buses (which travel to Nice and Monaco) stop right in front, and there is a very nice playground for children across the street. There's a small Casino grocery store just down the street, although we did most of our shopping at a Carrefour in Nice (15 minute drive). There's also a Picard upscale frozen food shop very close, which could be handy for eating a meal in without cooking.
The kitchen is well-equipped for a group, with a good stove with five gas hobs/burners and a big oven (minor glitches are that the hobs need to be lit with a match and the markings on the oven control are almost worn off). There was an extra fridge/freezer, as well as a serious microwave.
The showers were great, with plenty of hot water unless all 8 of us showered very close in time. Since we were there in Dec/Jan, we needed heat, not air conditioning. The downstairs was warm when we arrived, but the top floor was cold the first night. To his credit, the owner's representative came very promptly the next day to adjust the heat so that all the rooms were warm enough (although the master bedroom still felt nicer with an extra blanket...). Obviously, we didn't use the pool, though it's a good size and has a reassuring fence to keep it safe for children. The badminton court in the photos seemed a little beaten up.
We were glad we had a car, but I think it would be easy to stay at this villa without one, especially if eating dinner out instead of cooking.
We found that Villefranche-sur-Mer was a good place to stay, although the old town was almost spooky it was so quiet this time of year. The town is hilly, but not impossibly so. The beach is not huge, but it's sand not rocks. We found lots to do nearby in Nice, Antibe, and Monaco. I was particularly suprised at how much we enjoyed the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, a 10-minute bus ride away on the other side of the bay.
The owner was quick to reply to our questions and his representative in Villefranche was easy to get hold of. I'd be happy to return again, maybe in spring or fall the next time.
The property was so far beyond expectations! The traditional/original aspects of the house were amazing. The beautifully modern bathrooms and kitchen were a very unexpected joy--quite spacious and with every modern luxury available. The layout of the home, property and surrounding town made it a perfect location for a business or extended family retreat. Our thanks and appreciation go to the property manager, Jonathan Aird and his staff who maintained the villa and were able to answer all our questions promptly and effectively.
Located in Villefranche, between Nice and Monte Carlo, on the Lower Road (Basse Corniche) overlooking the bay of Villefranche to Cap Ferrat. One of the best located villas on the coast. Easy walking (4 minutes) to the Old Port where many of the best restaurants on the Cote d'Azur are located . Quiet but very central position. Bakery, small supermarket, fruit stall, cafes only 1 minute walk. Easy secure parking for 3 cars.
Other Activities: Table tennis on terrace.
Villefranche is an ancient village and boasts the oldest unchanged street in France.... Rue Obscure in the Old Town which is a 4 minute stroll.
This villa has 33 windows and doors and is an unusual diamond shape. Built by King Leopold for his mistress, it was the Belgian Ambassador's residence for many years.
Ski: Skiing in Isola or Auron which are nearly 2 hours by car.
