Perfect for families, this recently updated, roomy home located north of 6A is situated on a quiet residential street abutting conservation land. It's less than half a mile to beautiful Linnell Landing Beach on Cape Cod Bay! Nearby is Nickerson State Park with its numerous fresh water swimming ponds, nature trails and hiking paths. The paved Cape Cod Bike Trail is also very close and offers serene rides through the woods, meadows, bogs, and along fresh and salt water. The property is convenient to downtown Brewster and Orleans shops and restaurants. Sunday to Sunday rentals are available in June in September to accommodate wedding rentals.
Our family has a long history with the bayside beaches in Brewster as our children are the third generation who have grown up with the wonder of the Brewster flats. For us, being on the Cape means family, freedom for our children to roam, and endless exploration. There is so much to do and see on the Cape but there is also beauty in doing nothing at all.
Our house is off a quiet beach road that ends at one of the most spectacular beaches in the world. The Cape Cod Bay offers dramatic tides that transform the beach from a wonderland of tidal pools to heavenly warm water with gentle lapping waves. It's truly the best of both worlds. And when it's oceanside action you crave, the Cape Cod National Seashore with scenic dunes and crashing waves is the next town over. And, being just across from Nickerson State Forest offers yet another dimension with the shady ponds and the fantastic bike path. For our family, there couldn't be a more ideal location.
Our house is well-equipped for groups of all types. The central living area with iHome docking station and 42' plasma TV is the epicenter of the house which also includes a fantastically equipped kitchen (we love to cook). There are 5 bedrooms which offer a quiet retreat - two of which are equipped with TV and one with a DVD player. Our very private backyard abuts conservation land and offers an outdoor shower, a stainless steel gas grill and a mamouth picnic table to fit even the largest group.
Thank you for a wonderful vacation. Your home is perfect and we really enjoyed our stay. There were many personal touches like the basket of books in the kids bedroom and that great coffee table with the hidden toys that really made our stay!!! Being so close to the beach was also a great thing as well. The picnic table in the back yard was the location of our family lobster dinner which we all enjoyed with your lobster dishes and plenty of crackers and lobster meat pickers. There were many walks to Cobies for ice cream as well as to cheer on the pan mass riders. We took your suggestion to head to the Beachcomber for dinner and saw seals and whales from the Cahoun Hollow beach!!! Incredible! The sunsets at the cape are certainly spectacular! Thank you!
Two years ago we were looking for a last minute vacation home to spend Labor Day with our large extended family and we came across this fantastic house near Linnell Landing Beach. We rented the house again this year for the same purpose and had a blast. The house is in a great location for families looking to enjoy a small beach on the bay. It is a quick drive or bike ride to the beach making it very convenient. The Cape Cod Rail Trail is also accessible right across the street from Linnell Landing road for people who enjoy biking. The layout of the house is great for large groups. We had plenty of space for everyone to gather in the large kitchen/ dining/living room area on the first floor. The house also has a large yard where the kids could play and we could all sit around the fire pit at night. The owner is extremely helpful and easy to reach if you need her. We can't wait to return to this Linnell Landing house in the future for more end of summer fun in Brewster!
What a wonderful house for a family vacation! The set up is good for young children, with an open floor plan, a large dining table, and plenty of bedrooms. The back yard is spacious and quiet and the outdoor shower is great. The location can't be beat, within walking distance of the bay, the bike path, and Cobie's restaurant, and a short drive to the National Seashore beaches. The owners are as sweet and helpful as they could possible be. We all want to come back!
We stayed here for 1 week in April 2014, the home is very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and 5 comfortable bedrooms. A great location to explore the Cape, must go to Chatham main st and harbour its so quaint. Make sure you check out Brewster general stores, this shop stocks everything! The natural history museum is good and the nature trail to Wing Island is worth it to see the wildlife. Provincetown is great for a day out. Brewster fish house is well worth a visit as the food was excellent.
Keira was really good in responding to my email queries and really helpful as this was our first time in Cape Cod.
The property was clean and well maintained and provided everything we needed for a relaxed break.
What a wonderful week on the Cape! We have been coming to Brewster for many years and have rented many different properties but this was by far the best. The location is absolutely perfect - on a safe, quiet street and an easy walk to the beach. The house itself was wonderfully appointed with nice furnishings, a impressively stocked kitchen, and all the beach gear a family could ask for. The outdoor shower was wonderful for the kids after a day on the beach. We have never repeated a rental in the past but we're already booked for next year and looking forward to returning.
Stayed there last summer, and going back!! It is an excellent location. Short walk to the bay-side beach where the kids LOVED to play at low-tide. Also right near Nickerson State park which has awsome bike paths. Neighboorhood is very quiet and far enough away from the hussle and bussle of the larger tourist areas. And another short walk to an ice cream stand...perfect finish to a perfect day. Highly recommend this property.
