About the property

Dog friendly, family friendly, and cozy for just one couples too.

Make memories with your loved ones (and doggies) as you tell stories around the fire. Located less than 5 minutes from downtown North Conway and 7 miles from Attitash Mountain! One mile from the family friendly Tuckerman’s Restaurant & Tavern, nestled in the Intervale Resort Loop, this vintage mountain cabin is the perfect home for your next family vacation.

Relax in a vintage rocker on the wraparound screen porch with your favorite refreshment while enjoying the moment and the view of the Moat Mountains and Cathedral Ledge.

Prefer to cozy up to the fireplace with a good read? Comfy seating centers around the real wood fireplace. Firewood is stocked for your convenience.

The owners have maintained the charm of this period home while adding all the creature comforts the modern family wants. This can be your home away from home.

Setting: This is a vintage cabin with all of the modern amenities nestled into the hillside with trees all around. The screened porch faces west and has a view of Cathedral Ledge and Moat and Attitash Mountains. Sunrises are beautiful as it illuminates the mountains. Sunsets are incredible as the sky lights with warm colors while the sun sets behind the mountains. Then it's time for the moon! Sit on the porch or inside and watch the sun and moon change the colors of the wonderful view.

We do not offer seasonal rentals for the winter as we use the house as well.

Bedrooms 1, 2 and 3 have flat panel wall-mounted TVs and from what other guests say: is a great way for the kids to watch their shows while adults enjoy their music or shows downstairs. The 5th bedroom is a bunk room that has one set of bunk beds slightly smaller than twin size and is part of laundry room/pantry area and is perfect for kids.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Right from the pictures on the website, I knew that this was the house for our family vacation. After contacting the owner, recieving a quick respons, we were all set to go. I was provided with all info needed. Off we went, upon arrival, our breath was taken away, the pictures are only half as beautiful as the real thing. My 3 children, 2 dogs and my self were greeted with a plate of warm brownies and dog treats a much needed snack after our 3.5 hour car ride. The cottage was clean, comfortable and very inviting. I must say we spent most of our time on the amazing screened in porch enjoying everything the great outdoors had to offer. We felt right at home. All of the beds were extrememly comfortable , even the 2 dog beds. The cabinets were full of all the necessaties to cook just like at home. The game shelf was stocked with entertainment for my kids, and the tv's in each room was a bonus. The location was perfect, off the beaten path but easy to get to and close to anything and everything you might want. I really can not say enough about the cottage, the owners, and our experience. We have been renters for many years, and this by far was our best ever. We can not wait to book our vaction next year.

Perfect spot to gather with family and friends

  • 5 of 5

I am a little hesitate to share how much we love this cabin because it’s a ‘best kept secret’. This was our 10th year returning and Julie and Tom are great hosts. Arrive - unpack - relax!

Fantastic Comfy Cottage in the woods!

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed in a lot of rentals through the years and this one will remain one of my favorites! The cottage was perfect for our family trip. Julie & Tom have done a wonderful job making this place feel like a true home away from home. The decor is every bit as adorable as it looks in the pictures. Every thing that you could possibly need was there and It's also super clean and comfortable. I loved the extra touches like treats waiting for us when we checked in! It was a wonderful surprise and greatly appreciated. We were close to lots of terrific restaurants and close to town to grab groceries or supplies too. I wish I could have packed up the wrap around front porch and taken it home with us. I miss the quiet evenings sitting out and enjoying the tranquility without the worry of mosquitoes or the elements. It was wonderful to be able to bring our dog with us too. They loved their time as much as we did. Thank you again Julie & Tom! It was a vacation to remember! - Jo

Loved the vintage cabin. It has charm and character yet up to date with technology. The porch is just outstanding. Even tho it was chilly during our stay we still enjoyed sitting there sipping drinks and chatting. It was also so nice to be have our dogs with us. We felt very at home.
