I think I speak for all of us when i say we had a whale of a time. This house was so much fun, we made so many good memories here. We made friends with the deer that would walk out back every morning. Thank you very much, you are a kind soul for renting out your home.
This house was a perfect memorial weekend for my family and group of friends with kids. The kitchen is fully stocked, it is complete with all the things needed. The area was great being near in a lake on a private community, we feel very safe and secured. Lots of activities inside the house if weather is not permitting, the sauna was a bonus! If you like nature and walks try Bushkill falls it didnt disappoint. Overall we had a great time and will recommend this place to anyone! Rita the owner is quick in responding and very nice too.
Had a excellent time spending a weekend at this house, the entertainment was amazing, the pool table and pin pong keep us having fun all night , and to relax we had a beautiful sauna, highly recommended to book this house
We really enjoyed the place.
It has everything you can imagine.
Plenty of space for everybody.
Sauna, ping-pong a pool tables are great addition for cold winter night.
We will be happy to come again.
My fourth time staying at the house, and as always I have nothing but great things to say. The house is great, the owners are very nice and helpful, the price is amazingly affordable and i look forward to going back.
Neatly kept house. Nice sauna- enjoyed it a lot. New TV set and all the amenities. Highly recommend!
Rented this property for 4 days and had an amazing time. The house has everything - sauna, pool table, ping pong, karaoke, grill, screened porch.... Kitchen also has everything you need for cooking, and more. The owner is one of the most pleasant people we ever rented from, and we rent several times per year. She was very nice and accommodating. Overall, this was probably one of our best mini-vacations because of everything this property has to offer. We will definitely come back. Thank you!
Childs Park is part of Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Are. Take the opportunity to walk a scenic 1.8 mile loop trial encircling three magnificent waterfalls - Fulmer Falls, Deer Leap Falls and Factory Falls. Many natural features and relics of cultural history can be found here. At the top of Factory Falls is the old mill site, run by the Brooks Family in 1825. A walk at Childs park can be beautiful in any season. Spring is the time for mountain laurel and other wild flower blooms. Heavy rains and snow melt feed Dingmans Creek creating a spectacular cascade over Factory, Fulmer and Deer Leap Falls. During the hot days of summer, towering hemlocks and sheer rock walls provide refreshing coolness. Fall is the season of brilliant colors as the many deciduous trees prepare for winter. During the coldest days of January and February, the waterfalls will freeze into silence, creating a fairyland of snow and ice. Secluded picnic areas, fireplaces and pit toilets are available.
Other Activities: tennis, boating, whitewater rafting, wildlife & foliage viewing, outlet shopping
