We,ve been traveling "up north" in Michigan for over 30 years during all seasons. We finally purchased our cottage in 1998 and have been enjoying the Leelanau peninsula and other northern locations ever since. We hope you enjoy the area as much as we have.

The shoreline in this area offers a beautiful sandy beach
A lovely, well furnished, comfortable home away from home. The lake front is perfect for family activities. Roomy deck, shallow water and quiet neighborhood made for a great 3-generation vacation. Well located for exploring the TC and Leelanau Peninsula.
Beautiful property, loved the quiet and privacy. The house was very comfortable and we liked having the air conditioning.
The appliances, TVs and the bathrooms all functioned perfectly. We moored our boat because for our ski/wakesurf boat the lift was located in water too shallow for our boat to go on. There were mooring poles in the lake, however, so it was not a problem for us.
We enjoyed the campfire and the fact that firewood was there for us. We loved the sandy bottom of this area of Lake Leelanau.
It was great to meet Tim and we were pleased that he stayed and talked with us on the Saturday that we checked in.
We used the outdoor gas grill......we enjoyed it and it functioned well. Our family had a wonderful week and we hope to go back in 2017.
Very nice cottage, lots of room and very quiet. The lake is shallow for quite a ways out making it nice for our six year old.
This was our third year in this lovely home, and we've already booked next year! The cottage itself is so nice, with lots of space for our family. There is a great deck with plenty of seating and a nice table and chairs for meals outside. There is a dock, and two small beaches which were great for our grandchildren. Plus, the master suite is stunning, and separate enough to give tired grandparents a bit of a break. We love coming here, and can't wait to come back!
Our family has been traveling up North to the Traverse City area for as many years as I can remember. Six years ago we rented this lovely cottage from Tim and Kathy and now it feels like we're going home each year. This is the perfect spot for a family to gather as the beach is sandy and has a very gentle slope making it perfect for young children. We rent a pontoon annually from a local vender and have easily moored it on a buoy. The cottage itself is well kept and decorated nicely making it cosy and comfortable. The grill, dishwasher and laundry make it an extra nice place to stay. Tim and Kathy take pride in this property and keep it well kept so vacationers never feel like it is old and run down. I highly recommend this property. It's location is perfect for an up North vacation as it is centrally located to TC, Sutton's Bay, Leland and Glen Arbor and lots of wineries near by. It is quiet and an exceptionally beautiful location. We have stayed here both summer and fall, it's truly a get a way gem!
We have stayed at Tim & Kathy's home on the the lake 3 times. Twice in the summer and once in the fall. Already have plans to return next year and hope to continue to come back for many years to come. Our children and grandchildren love the lake and surrounding areas. Everything is well maintained and clean. Tim is easy to reach if you need anything or just have a question.
