My beautiful condominium is located in South Maui, on the Wailea/Kihei border. The area is populated with beautiful luxury resorts, shopping, restaurants, golf and beaches. My condominium is directly across from the popular Kamaole III Beach and State Park. swimming, snorkeling, surfing and wave riding are excellent here; this park is also THE place to watch sunset - a festive atmosphere enjoyed by locals and guest to Maui alike: kites, frisbees, footballs, dogs, Mai Tai's with the spectacular, crystal blue Pacific as a backdrop!

My unit is located in a 23 acre complex which is low-rise and low-density with extensive lawns and tropical landscaping in its dramatic hillside setting. My smoke-free condo is located in the most desirable oceanview 'A' building of the Maui Kamaole Condominium complex. There are no buildings or obstructions in front of my condominium, assuring you of stunning and UNOBSTRUCTED OCEAN VIEWS, sunsets, stargazing and whale watching from the privacy of your own lanai.

The unit is a very spacious 900 square feet on the ground floor (no stairs to navigate, so handicap and wheelchair accessible). It is a very sunny, modern, comfortable and very well equipped unit. Being a New York City interior designer, I've selected the furniture, art and finishes to reflect an island serenity and theme without resorting to the tacky cliche` of tropical pastels prints found in so many hawaii rentals. This condominium was remodeled in 2015 - stone floors throughout (extending to the ocean view and Haleakala view lanais as well); the kitchen has new stainless steel appliances including a French door refrigerator with freezer drawer, maple cabinetry, granite counters, cookware and dishes; two sumptuous custom baths with marble showers (both large enough for two - hint!hint!), undermount basins, imported light fixtures, bamboo hardware and uber-luxurious Ralph Lauren bath linens.

The bedroom is large with a new king-size, pillow-top bed outfitted with 600 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets, a sumptuous 100% down comforter outfitted in a high thread count duvet, an en suite master bathroom with dual sink vanity & walk-in shower, two large closets, Indonesian teak and bamboo furniture and an enclosed lanai outfitted with a handwoven hammock - the perfect place for an afternoon nap!! The living room / dining area has an open, airy feeling decorated with earth-toned upholstery, teak and koa wood accents, a wool Safavieh area rug, an antique Chinese wedding cabinet houses the entertainment system (stereo with CD & AM/FM, Bose iPod sound doc, DVD and 32-inch, flat-screen color TV), bamboo wall coverings and original artwork (from Hawaiian artists) all blend harmoniously with the unimpeded ocean view from the 22 foot-plus expanse of glass composed of new, insulated and soundproof, double sliding doors.

This is not a standard rental condominium. It is a chic and comfortable island home. In fact, I use this as my Maui residence three to four months annually. I limit my rentals to a MAX of two adults and children over 14 who will care for my property, and enjoy it as much as I do. It is the perfect place for the extended, comfortable, romantic stay on Maui. I welcome honeymooning or anniversary couples (champagne gift baskets and in room couples massages can be arranged in advance for an additional charge). Additionally, I enthusiastically welcome seniors, singles and gay travellers.

Amenities at the condominium complex include multiple tennis courts, two swimming pools (one with a waterfall), two hot tubs, poolside gazebos with eating areas and gas barbecues for guest use. Excellent shopping at the Shops at Wailea - numerous art galleries and clothing stores as well as Tiffany's, Gucci, Versace, Louis Vuitton & Prada. Area restaurants include: Spago at The Four Seasons Resort, Morimoto at the Andaz Resort, Sarrento's on the Beach, Capische at the Hotel Wailea, Sansei Sushi, The Five Palms, Gannon's, Cafe O'Lei, Matteo's, Monkeypod Kitchen, Bistro Meme and others. For you golf enthusiast, there are five championship golf courses are located within a two mile radius. AND, the best for last: the best beaches on all of Maui are only minutes away on foot, by bike or car ( Keawakapu, Kamaole I, II & III, Elua - these five are all walking distance - Wialea, Polo and Makenna Beaches all have public parking and are less than 5-10 minute drive away). The historic whaling town of Lahaina & world famous Ka'anapalii Beach are 24 miles (45 minutes)away; horseback riding at Makenna stables is 9 miles away (20 minutes); the Maui Ocean Center & Aquarium at Ma'alea Harbor is 10 miles away (20 minutes). Additionally, necessities such as grocery stores (Safeway, Foodland and the Star Market), pharmacies, dry cleaners, gyms, hair/nail salons, the post office, gift shopping, etc. are all a stone's throw from my unit.

Make your Maui vacation the BEST it can be by choosing the BEST condo on Maui!!! ALSO: I am in touch with the owners of the units next door to mine (both 1 BR/2 bath ocean view units)and often they have similar availability, so please ask if you need more room to accomodate your group!! Finally, my on-island Estate Manager is happy to stock your fridge with coffee, fruit, etc prior your arrival (additional charge).

I am a Interior Designer/Real Estate Broker/Real Estate Investor in NYC for the past 20 years! I LOVE my Maui home and come AT LEAST 10 weeks annually (no easy feat considering it takes 1/2 a day to get there from here)!! I have tried to make my condo special and to stand out by paying attention to the details: high thread count sheets, fluffy pillows and pillow top mattress pads for a dreamy nights sleep; coolers, picinic baskets, beach equipment (chairs, umbrellas, beach bags, toys, fins, masks, etc); extra blankets & thermos for Haleakala (you'll be thanking me); etc. Also, you can ask my housekeeper, I am the biggest PAIN to work for because my standards for cleanliness are EXTREMELY high - and I do not accept anything less. Come stay, and enjoy!!

Awesome stay - great condo

The bed was amazing - so comfortable and cozy. We loved the ocean view from the lanai and the convenience of both the pool and the beach so close to the condo. Lovely furnishings, very well kept, excellent location - what more could you ask for? If we make it back to Maui, we'd definitely hope to stay here again.

Todd was great to work with and very responsive, prompt and friendly.

Beautiful Condo, Fantastic Location

This is the first time we have stayed at the Maui Kamaole complex, and we loved it! My husband's parents stayed in this unit, and it was perfect... spacious, beautifully decorated, well-equipped and well organized. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the beach, with gorgeous views from the lanai.

We really enjoyed the complex's two swimming pools (especially the gorgeous upper pool and hot tub) and the two tennis courts.

The owner, Todd, was very helpful, easy to work with, and always quick to respond to any questions or concerns. We would highly recommend this unit to anyone.

Spotted whales from unit

Bbq at complex fun to meet other travelers, snorkeling and relaxing on the beach were good times, island hopped one day for Pearl Harbor visit, what a history lesson. Finished trip swimming in a pool underneath waterfall on road to Hana!!

As advertised....

My husband and I spent a week in this condo last month. The location is ideal for walking to the beach (public park in one direction and nice beach in front of condos and restaurants in the other direction). 10 minutes from the condo door to the beach. It was nice to have the chairs, umbrella, scuba gear, and coolers. They came in handy. The condo was very nice, as you can see from the pictures- tile floors and granite/marble countertops. This condo is located in the the front of the complex and has an awesome view of the pacific. We enjoyed our breakfast on the patio each morning. We would definitely recommend this condo.

Perfect Stay in Paradise

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful and luxurious condo during our honeymoon in Maui. After looking at the photos and description I had pretty high expectations when we arrived. I'm pleased to say that it definitely exceeded my expectations, and then some! It was perfect. The attention to detail in the beautiful decor and amenities provided really made it feel like a home-away-from-home for us during our stay. One of our favorite features was the patio with an awesome view. Even though it's in a complex, it felt quiet and secluded, perfect for enjoying our coffee every morning and watching the beautiful sunsets. It is a short drive or walk away from numerous beaches, shops, restaurants, and other things to do. Todd, the owner, really went above and beyond to make sure our stay was special and enjoyable and it most certainly was. If we are in Maui again (and I have a feeling we will be) we would stay here again without a doubt!

Exemplary Property with an Exceptional Owner

This was our first trip to Maui, HI and we couldn't be happier with our VIP experience in paradise. You can't go wrong with this condo as itt was our home away from home for 14 days and the most relaxing stay we have ever experienced anywhere. You will love the compelling and extraordinary unobstructed panoramic view of the Maui coast of this exquisitely decorated condo in a fabulous location that's close and convenient to everything. Mr. Todd Buchanan, the owner, has thought of it all as this place is stocked with everything you will need for your stay. He is quick to respond, open to answering any questions, and made renting this property a painless experience. While we were on the property, the office staff (Iona in particular) was an invaluable resource with local knowledge of the island getting us discounts on attractions/activities.This place is worth every penny and we can't get back there quick enough!

Thank you Todd for having us and giving us such a memorable experience.
