About Mary Lou
Holly & Clem bought this house (built somewhere between 1895 and 1904 in 2013. They literally replaced everything, repainting every single square inch, preserved the original wood floors and kitchen cabinets – shipped by boat in 1904 - and updated the house to current modern standards, with the majority of the work done by them. Holly is a retired teacher and Clem is a retired sales exec. True labor of love.

Beautiful and restful cottage by the lakes
This was our first trip to Leland, and won't be our last. Mary Lou's help even before we arrived assured us that we were going to be in good hands. The house was beautiful and comfortable for the four of us (including two kids - 1 and 3.5). The region is a summer playground, with great beaches, plenty of ice cream, walking trails and historic lighthouses.
We loved the set up of the house, with a great kitchen in which we prepared nearly all of our meals, comfortable beds and a great living room in which to hang out. We spend LOTS of time in the backyard, and walking around the neighborhood. We enjoyed picking and eating fresh cucumbers and basil, and my daughter watched the birds feeding at the feeder. It was a lovely trip.
It was such fun to meet you all! I am delighted your time in Leland and surrounding areas was so memorable! I look forward to meeting again!
