3 Double Bedrooms & 2 Bathrooms - It's Close To The Sea With Mountain Views

Villa Casabella is a detached villa, ideally located to enjoy a family holiday. It has a large swimming pool (10 x 5 metres). This easily accomodates a family who want to enjoy water fun all together without taking it in turns. Around it, there are plenty of sun-beds and chairs for sunbathing. These are dotted all around the patios for your relaxation. For those who prefer the shade, the property incorporates an arched covered terrace that overlooks the pool. This is ideal for relaxation, reading a book, doing a crossword puzzle atc. It also has tables for dining, and will accomodate 8-10 people without a problem. There is a purpose built barbecue just waiting to be lit-up. Al fresco dining is the norm in this part of Spain, and visitors just love to barbecue at any time of day or night..

The villa has 3 double size bedrooms, all with fitted wardrobes, bedside cabinets, draw units, shelves and mirrors. Two of the bedrooms have twin beds, and the master bedroom has a double bed. There are 2 bathrooms. The first is an en-suite with a shower cubicle, wash basin and a toilet. It has it's own vanity unit. The second has a bath with a shower, wash basin and toilet, and a bathroom cabinet).

In the lounge there are 2 settees, a coffee table and a flat screen television with many UK channels including ITV, BBC, and channels 4 and 5. There is also a DVD player for your use, and many books to be read. The villa has air conditioning throughout the bedrooms and lounge. The a/c units are dual function, and provide warm air during the cooler winter periods. There is also a gas fire for use during the winter-time. The villa has wi-fi installed for the use of holiday makers.

The kitchen amenities include a new cooker and hob, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave oven, electric kettle and toaster. There are ample cupboards and work surfaces, and a new kitchen sink and tap. When eating inside, meals can be served through the Spanish ‘archway’ to the dining room. This overlooks the pool, and is an ideal area for eating indoors.

However, in Spain most of the dining and socialising is ’al fresco’. So, use the terraces and garden, and enjoy your holiday, taking advantage of all the facilities. The covered terrace overlooking the pool also has it's own dining tables, and there are small tables on the pool terrace and on the front terrace where you can enjoy your drinks and snacks.

At Villa Casabella you should enjoy a relaxing holiday. At night, have a glass of wine as you chat in the garden terrace, or watch the world go by from the front terrace. this overlooks the front garden with it's many cacti, flowers and succulent plants.

There is off-road car parking space and a garage at the villa. There is also plenty of free allocated parking on the road itself..

About Richard & June Bullock

We purchased the property in 1990 so that we could enjoy holidays in the sun with our family and friends. The villa has been extended and extensively re-furbished over the years. The swimming pool was built by a Spanish 'pool specialist' in 1995. We wanted a large swimming pool because our family were all 'water babies'. Over the years, we have enjoyed many great holidays at Casabella.

Why Richard & June Bullock chose El Campello

We bought this property because we loved the location. Cala D'or was undeveloped in 1990, but we could see the great potential that it had. it was close to the sea, just 1 km to a small secluded beach with a 4* hotel nearby. We also saw that it was very convenient to get to Cala D'or. We could fly into Alicante airport, and know that we would be at our villa within 30 mins of leaving the airport. We loved the nearby fishing village El Campello, and this is now even more of an attraction with the superb marina, harbour, and picturesque promenade with it's many varied bars and restaurants.

What makes this villa unique

Villa Casabella is uniquely located with mountain views from the pool-side, and sea views from the front terrace. Cala D'or is a secluded small village. and yet it is well connected. it is just 500 metres 'as the crow flies' from the sea. It has a small sandy beach just 1 km away. It has just a few of its own select bars and restaurants, and a 4* hotel nearby. And, El Campello is just 7 mins away by car, with all the facilities of banks, shops, supermarkets, open market, restaurants and bars. It's beaches, promenade, marina and harbour are a pleasure to enjoy at any time of day or night, and the promenade restaurants and bars are some of the finest on the Costa Blanca. For those who like a livelier holiday with busy beaches and the bright lights of the disco, Benidorm is just 20 min's drive away. With a car, Cala D'or provides so much choice, that it is convenient to get to....but difficult to leave behind. And you never need to be out of contact with your family & friends because Villa CasaBella has wifi installed.

Excellent villa with everything you need for a perfect relaxing holiday, We would definitely return

The villa is ideally located in a quiet residential area in between 2 sets of restaurants and small shops. The restaurants all served decent food and the staff were very friendly. There is a local regular bus service to EL CAMPELLO that now runs every day throughout the week, we hired a car from the airport in ALICANTE which came in very useful for trips further afield. There is a lovely small beach about 1.5kms aware which has a nice cafe and also very nice views. Overall we had a brilliant holiday and excellent weather. The owners Richard and June were always very approachable and quick to reply to any queries that we had, John and Lynn who look after the villa were very friendly and always helpful when we required assistance.

Good size, well laid out and great location

Six of us stayed for a week in early June and it was perfect. Great size property, lovely pool and beautiful views over the mountains or out to the sea. The bus which stops almost directly outside the villa was a god send as we could easily get into El Campbello or the local beach and bars. In addition, the tram takes you into Benidorm in about 30 mins, always worth a visit. Lynn and John were always ready to react to any questions and made the whole experience so easy. It was all so good that we've already booked to go back in 2019.

A beautiful villa with lovely views of the sea - certainly a Casabella

We had a wonderful 2 week (1st-15th September 2017) holiday in this beautiful villa so aptly named, with an extra long swimming pool, lovely garden areas and undercover seating, a pleasure to relax in this lovely villa.

John and Lynn who take care of the villa were brilliant hosts and very friendly and most helpful. The services offered by them I would advise visitors to take advantage of these. The airport transfers, Aldi shop, Meet and Greet was excellent.

There is a super little bus service every hour that runs up and down the road and we often used this to visit Bar Poblet which was so welcoming and friendly apart from the superb food which is all prepared freshly when ordered. The little bus (C2) comes from El Campello around 15 minutes past the hour and then goes down to the nearest hotel and beach and then comes up the road on its return around 30 minutes-35 minutes past the hour. It was such a bonus

We would certainly be very happy to return to Villa Casabella and enjoy the facilities the villa offers. We had a lovely holiday thank you Richard and June.

Gorgeous!

We have recently stayed at the villa, the weather was el scorchio, however at the end of the day thats what we all go away for, the villa was excellently air conditioned so everything was fine in that aspect. The kitchen had everything you needed and we ate outside all week, either bbq's or made meals, the shaded area is excellent for that. I would have to mention that you do need a car as the nearest good supermarket Aldi is about 8 mins drive away on the way to El Campello. El Campello itself is only about 12 mins away drive but a lovely place to visit. All in all we had a fabulous time, the pool is a great size even with lots of inflatable toys in it lol! Lynn and John met us at the villa and showed us around and what lovey people they are, Be rest assured you wont be disappointed in your choice if you decide to stay here, but do make sure you hire a car, happy holidaying!!!!!!!

Like you, most of our guests really like the large swimming pool. They also find the shaded terrace ideal for eating meals, having a glass of wine or two, or for just relaxing in the shade. We agree that it is better and more convenient to hire a car if you wish to travel about. However, surprisingly, quite a number of our guests choose to use the hourly local bus, tram, and the 'lifts' from John & Lynn to go shopping or visit the local town. We will inform John & Lynn that you appreciated their help, and we really appreciate your kind recommendations to others who may be interested in staying at Villa CasaBella.

Villa Casabella is found on Orihuela Avenue, Cala D’or, in the region of El Campello. The road leads onto the main coast road N332 that goes into El Campello then on to the A70 motorway. Both roads run the length of the Costa Blanca.

The main towns Benidorm and Alicante are both about 20 mins away by car. Villa Casabella is located about 500 metres from the sea, with a small sandy beach about 1 km away. There are also large sandy beaches nearby at El Campello, Villajoyosa and San Juan. These Spanish towns all have supermarkets and are good places for shopping.

Casabella is easy to reach. Take flights into Alicante Airport, hire a car, and drive to Cala D’or along the A70 motorway. This is a 25 mins drive. Buses and taxis are also readily available from the airport.

Cala D'Or itself is traditionally Spanish. It is a totally unspoilt, select urbanisation in a beautiful green valley, and close to the sea. Surrounded by hills, it is both picturesque and peaceful. It has a village atmosphere with some good local facilities, including a few bars, restaurants and small supermarket. It's laid back & peaceful but not remote.

There are many interesting places to visit nearby. El Campello and Villajoyosa both have open markets. El Campello is a small fishing town. It has a long stretch of sandy beaches, a great harbour and marina, and a picturesque promenade with many terraces, shops, little bars, and restaurants where fresh sea food is served.

About 1 km away from Villa Casabella is the regular Tram from Alicante to Denia. You can visit different local markets, relax on the endless beaches, or visit the spectacular Theme Parks “Terra Mitica”and “Terra Natura”. There are many more places of interest just a short distance away. In the area around there are five 18 holes golf course.

Benidorm is a ‘must’ for children with: Aqualandia Water Park, and Mundomar (Sea World), as well as many other attractions .

The beautiful Jalon Valley is not too far away. Here, grapes are grown, & the local vineyards and ‘bodegas’ will be pleased for you to taste their wines. And don’t forget, dining out at the local restaurants can be very cheap. A ‘menu del dia’ meal will cost between 10 Euro and 18 Euro per person for a 3 course meal with bread and a drink of your choice …including wine.

Villa Casabella is conveniently placed for those who wish to explore the many Costa Blanca places of interest. The local bus service stops every hour at Cala D’or, and it links with the modern Tram-train that travels all along the coast.

The caves of Canalobre are well worth seeing. As you travel through the picturesque mountain village Busot, stop and fill-up your water bottles from the mountain stream taps of water in the centre. The caves are just 20 mins away by car.
