On the furnished terrace you can enjoy the view into the surrounding area or start your day with a sumptuous breakfast. To explore the numerous well-marked hiking and cycling trails, you can start right on your doorstep. A bicycle boulevard leads straight to the Ilmtal cycle path. Winter hiking trails, cross-country skiing trails, close to 40 ski lifts and the Biathlon area Oberhof await you in the winter. Recommended excursions into the region: Castle ruins with castle park, Wartburg Castle in Eisenach, Friedenstein Castle (a baroque palace), Wilhelmsburg Castle in Schmalkalden, the exhibition mine Hühn in Trusetal, Saalfeld Fairy Grottoes, Ilmenau, Erfurt. Please note: The house is not suitable for children under the age of 10.
