Carolina Mornings Vacation Rentals
Lovely mountain getaway
This house was just as it looked in the listing. It is huge and lovely. We had a little trouble getting the internet code right, and the property manager answered us immediately. We were warned about the steep road getting there and it was very doable. There was a huge storm which knocked out the a/c. Even though it wasn't fixable in one day, the owner did his best. Over all, it was quite nice.
Perfect place for mini college reunion for 4 couples. Each of us had our own master suite. The great room and huge deck with rockers made for ideal conversation areas. Can't say enough about this place. Ideal location for taking advantage of all the area has to offer.
Grea my house. Great location.
The house was clean, planned to accommodate large groups perfectly, and beautifully located. The view was magnificent. Hikes, groceries, restaurants, and shops close by. Asheville 15 to 20 minutes away, and a very easy drive. You can stay here and do it all. We will return with this group, and others.
Perfect cabin for multiple families
The cabin was beautiful and perfectly designed to support multiple families traveling together. The wood throughout is amazing! The different seating areas and game areas were perfectly balanced; our group came together in different combinations in the various different areas through our stay. We never felt like we were intruding upon one another's space. Love the huge kitchen table that seated all 10 of us together! Can't say enough about this beautiful cabin!
Perfect group mountain getaway
This is the PERFECT house for groups! The beds were all big, and the master bed is SUPER cozy— we didn’t want to leave. The jetted tub in the bath was a nice plus too! The kitchen has all the utensils you need to cook and the views are stunning!
There is both a wood and gas burning fireplace, that we took advantage of plus a great hot tub. The only downside was there is no outdoor firepit, but it would have been too cold anyways.
Lots of games to play, plenty of seating and just overall exactly what you want in a log cabin.
Warning, the road up is super steep And narrow— I was nervous to drive it, but we made it.
We definitely plan on staying here again and I cannot thank the owners enough for letting us stay!
Very nice well maintained home, suitable for a good size group and still have some privacy.
This is obviously a fairly new home and very nice. We had 11 total, 2 infants, 3 adult couples, 2 teenagers, and another adult single. Everyone had adequate privacy and the common areas were large enough to have the whole group together for social time and meals. We had everything we needed to prepare meals if when we chose to do so.
The town of Black Mountain is a gem. Several nice little restaurants, breweries, and coffee shops. There's some shopping for "those types", but the easy 25 minute trip to Asheville allows for almost unlimited restaurants, breweries, and shopping (for "those types"). The final ascent to the lodge on Pearson Dr. is not for the meek, but take your time, slow down for the speed bumps, and you'll be fine.
We would return to this area and this property for another vacation in the mountains.
