My name is Mr. Horacio Villar and first sorry for the delayed in the send you this coments.
I am writing you down concerning the reservation of a flat via HomeAway with the reference number that appears in the subject line.
We booked the property from the 20th to the 29th August.
There are a few things I would like to complain about and I do hope you take my words into consideration for eventual clients booking this property.
The very first evening we arrived, I observed that the rope to pull up and down the blind in one of the bedrooms was broken. As it was a bit late and I did not want to disturb the landlord, I told him the following day in the morning (Sunday) and he told me he could not repair and that he was not going to send anyone until the following weekend (Saturday) and I agreed to wait for a whole week reminding him that I was not guilty at all about the damage.
The following Saturday, as we saw there was nobody coming to repair the blind, we went to talk to the propietor again and he told me that, as we were leaving on Monday (two days later), he was not sending anyone to repair the blind because I had told him I did not mind being with a broken blind for the whole stay. When I told him that it was false, he told me that I had broken the blind because he had heard a tremendous noise the day we arrived.
As you may imagine, I felt very offended not only because of not repairing the blind but also because he was saying I was a liar.
He ordered us many things to be observed in his property (e.g. be barefoot on the carpet, strip the bed linen before leaving, pay an excesive cost per electricity...) and we did everything as agreed but we did not receive any compensation on behalf.
As I said above, I hope my letter to be sent to the right department so as to avoid eventual inconveniences and misunderstandings for future guests using this property.
I would also appreciate an answer on behalf of your company.
