Wonderful for a large group. Very spacious
Had a great time. Loved the pool as an alternate to the beach. Great location
Thanks for staying with us and for the positive review. We're glad you enjoyed the pool. The guy who maintains our pool says it's the nicest pool at a private home that he's seen in the area. It's almost 40 feet long, and great for swimming laps. Very private and surrounded by lovely landscaping. Please come back and stay with us again!

This place was perfect for our family. Quite roomy, great kitchen so well equipped. My 88 year old mother loved reading the historical memoir written by a Fulford family member. Just off Anna Maria Island, where my niece was having a destination wedding. The weather was cool during our stay, a blessing in that the bridge traffic was minimal. Loved the Historic Fishing Village aspect of the neighborhood. Can smell a bit fishy at times, but the Star Fish Company Restaurant is an experience not to be missed. Also got some beautiful shrimp at the Star Fish Company Market. I wouldn't hesitate to rent again should we return to the area.
Thanks for staying with us, and glad you enjoyed your stay. We hope your family will stay with us again!

This home was perfect for our Florida trip. The home had plenty of room. We will definitely be making a trip back to this area and will use the rental company again.
There was plenty of room for all 10 of us, the pool was a hit for the young kids. Only 1 mile from the beach we walked there for the July 4th parade. AC worked well, and lot's of pans, plates, blenders, towels, etc. to use. The only negative thing was the bathrooms are on the small side.
Thanks for your review. We're glad you enjoyed your vacation at the Captain Billy Fulford House. We're aware that the upstairs bathrooms are on the small side. It's an historic house, so we have to work with what the structure allows. I hope you enjoyed the downstairs master bath, which is quite spacious, newly renovated, and has a large handicap accessible shower.
Best wishes-Paul and Cindy, owners
Nice home and close to many activities
The house was large with plenty of room
Perfect place for our family!
This was a perfect place for our family - we had 12 people staying in the house and had plenty of room. Only complaint about the house was the bathrooms were pretty small. Loved walking 1/2 block to fishing pier each morning to see the sun come up over the bay and watch pelicans "dive" for food. The food at The very popular Star Fish Company at the pier was very good. Also enjoyed The Sea Hag a few blocks away - very unique. Ana Maria Island and all its beaches, shops, Restaurants were a short drive across the bridge.
Thanks for your review, and we're glad you enjoyed your stay. We love Cortez and we're happy when our guests appreciate its unique fishing village atmosphere. Sorry you found the bathrooms small. Yes - the upstairs bathrooms are on the small side, but the downstairs master bath is quite large with a big handicap accessible shower. We hope you will stay with us in the future.
