Beautiful log cabin, it absolutely exceeded the photo’s.

  • 5 of 5

We had an absolute awesome time staying in the cabin with our two boys and two dogs. The boys went sledding, we played board games in front of the log fire it was everything we were looking for. Carol was the perfect host, allowing us to check in early and also going the extra mile to post the dog leashes we left back to us. We will most certainly be going back!!

Owner's Response: Thank you for your kind comments. It was delightful to have you visit, and we were glad to hear the kids had a good time sliding on the hill. Lots of snow this year so far. Of course we are happy to send back the leashes! Thanks too for leaving the house in excellent condition! Perhaps we'll see you in the future! My favorite season in the Whites is summer, hiking, swimming! Best regards.

A wonderful weekend getaway!

  • 4 of 5

My wife, adult daughter, beagle and myself has a wonderful two day getaway to this log home. Carol and Ken were very responsive to us and everything was just as advertised and promised. It was a cold snowy weekend and was just perfect, the mountain views out the front windows were beautiful, the fireplace was a highlight. The cabin was warm and Carol and Ken worked hard to be sure the oil heat was working perfectly. We found it fun to explore all of the rooms of this spacious cabin. The cost was very reasonable especially for ski season and we look forward to going back again sometime!

The cabin has a lot of room, and is in a great location for hiking and river swimming. Very quiet, with nice views. A great get away!

Owner's Response: Thank you for coming to the log cabin and enjoying the peace here! We're delighted you had a good vacation. The area does have lots of swimming holes and lakes and the White Mountains are renown for its many trails, easy to difficult. Leaves are just beginning to turn reds, yellows, and the fireplace is cosy.
