Great "home away from away" in fabulous location
This quaint home was warm, welcoming, and a perfect home base for day trips up the North Shore and down to Duluth. My husband, 2 dogs, and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay at this location again! Sue was great too -- easy and timely communication, kind, and generous.
Thank you so much for your nice review. Love to have you stay again. Sue
Great little home in the perfect location.
A cute little home in Two Harbors at a great location. It was perfect for my husband and I with our dogs as we spent a long weekend on the North Shore. It is located at the end of a quite street, but closely connected to many amenities.
I almost gave 4 stars because of the lack of air conditioning for 2 days during our stay when it was in the 90's. The air from the shady back yard was a bonus to keep the temp in check though.
We would definitely stay at this location again when we return.
Thank you for your nice review! Would love to have you guys and Huck and Finn back to stay!
The house is small but cute and the owner is very friendly and helpful.
We were there for a family reunion so we used the house mainly for sleeping-no cooking etc. the house is well furnished. Nice kitchen and living room. The only negative is that one bedroom has a daybed and air mattress for sleeping. The daybed is very uncomfortable. The air mattress is OK. The other bedroom is fine. The owner plans on putting a nice bed in the other room. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.
The property was very clean and the location was convenient.
The property was very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast. There were plenty of clean towels, sheets and blankets. We were able to bring our dogs for a small pet fee. The location was convenient. Susan was quick to answer any questions we had,
The property listing says it sleeps 5, however it really only sleeps three comfortably. The property has one queen bed , a one person day bed, an air mattress and a couch. The people who slept on the air mattress and couch did not sleep well. The property does not have WiFi, which made it difficult to look up places we wanted to visit during our stay. The reasons for 4 stars instead of 5.
Overall it is a nice property and we would stay there again.
Clean and Great Communication!
This little house was all my mom and I needed for our weekend stay with my 2 y.o. son. Glad we are close, because the bathroom is connected to both bedrooms ;) Sue was fast to respond to messages and texted me helpful info promptly! The house itself was clean and had all we needed in the kitchen and rooms. We enjoyed a little picnic in the backyard when we arrived in the shade which was lovely.
The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is lack of wifi and no printed instructions in the house (for tv or checkout.. I didn't want to bother the hostess with too many texts). But overall great stay, and for a good price as clearly the North Shore has become incredibly and sadly expensive on summer weekends! Thank you Sue!
Thanks Lauren for your nice review. I appreciate your suggestions. Would love to have you stay again sometime.
