Fully refurbished 3 bedroom 1 bathroom property with all home comforts and A/C

Spacious 3 bedroom family friendly apartment with wifi set in picturesque gardens 12 minutes from the fabulous Son Bou beach. The apartment is in a complex which has the use of 3 swimming pools all with safe area's for children, 2 childrens playgrounds and tennis courts. A short walk from the San Jaime center which each evening (June - Sept) has a nightly show for all the family, there are 3 restuarants and bars all on the complex or you can stroll on 5 more minutes to resort center. We have a well equipped modern kitchen and bathroom including washing machine etc. The lounge/dining area consists of a table and chairs, high chair, 2 double sofa beds and a Large flat screen TV, DVD, music centre with iPod, cd, and assorted board games with an array of dvd's for your enjoyment. The bedrooms consist of 2 double rooms with 2 single beds in each and 1 single room with a bunkbed. There is a large terrace to the front with a table and chairs So you can dine Al fresco if required. There is also a small table and chairs on the smaller terrace to the rear.

About Mick Ronan

We live in Middlesex and have 3 children who are 21,18 & 16 who have been coming to the apartment every year for the last 13 years. They still enjoy Son Bou with the night club and beach sports with the other children and still enjoying all the other amenities that this resort offers.

Why Mick Ronan chose Alaior

We bought property because we liked where it was located as it has plenty of space around the apartment and the gardens are well kept. We have upgraded the apartment every year and it now has a new kitchen, bathroom, wardrobes and furniture. We have added a flat screen TV with English and Spanish channels, a DVD, ipod, cd player, fan's and portable heaters in the very unlikely event that they maybe required. The kitchen is fully equiped and we have a cool bag for the beach with various inflatable toys for the kids.

What makes this apartment unique

The apartment has a feel of relaxation with all your normal home comforts. We have installed free wifi for the 2016 season with A/C being installed for the 2017 season

The accommodation is very spacious and has a large flat screen television and DVD player with a wide selection of dvd's for all the family. There is also a iPod, radio and CD player to listen to music of your choice. There is a ironing board and iron for the use of our visitors. For the children there are various board games to play. Our property is managed so if there is any problems or if something breaks down they can be rectified straight away. At the reception you can hire safety deposit boxes and leave your cases and use there showers if you have to check out before your flight departs. If required we can arrange car hire for no extra cost and help with booking flights where needed For the golfing people there is a golf course in Son Parc (20mins in car).

Fantastic family appartment

Just back from a fantastic week in Son Bou. The appartment was great with lots of extras to keep the kids amused. The air con was great and worth the small charge to use it. Lots of footballs, umbrellas, sand toys and inflatables to use. We didn’t really cook much but the cooking facilities were compact but sufficient for a family of five to get by. A five minute walk for 2 of the main pools, although we preferred the St Jaime pool and slides. A quiet resort but blown away by the appartment and the service from Mick and Fiona. The transfer from the airport was kindly arranged for us and went without a hiccup. Thanks again.

The apartment was lovely, just as described

The apartment was ready on our arrival at 11.30, and we had immediate access. The staff at reception were helpful and provided a map to get around. The apartment is in a great spot, with a well appointed kitchen area and 3 good bedrooms, plenty of room for 4 adults. It is around 10-15 min walk to beach but the pools are 2 mins walk. The owner was very helpful providing information about the surrounding area and getting a taxi to the apartment was easy and 30 euros. Easy bus ride into Mahon from Son Bou too!

fantastic apartment with all you need

Just a brief note to say how much we enjoyed our stay, Mick was great with all the info and also organised our transfers to and from the airport. The apartment had everything we needed for our holiday and a lot more. We will be booking again next year for sure

Brilliant family holiday

We have just returned from a week here with 4 adults and two children aged 3 and 6.

This was our 3rd time in menorca and first in son bou.

The apartment was perfect, comfortable, spacious with all mod cons. Games and DVDs brilliant for the kids (pink panther was a hit!) and cooking facilities superb! We all slept well and enjoyed the gorgeous gardens and watching the sun going down from the terrace.

This apartments situation was ideal as we used the kids pool which was nearest but a lovely 10min stroll to the most stunning beach with crystal clear water. Very shallow and safe!

The apartment had air con which was a bonus as we were lucky and temps exceeded 30 degrees every day.

The resort was small but with enough choice and some lovely places to eat, drink and shop, it's clean and so friendly and felt safe.

We have fallen in love with menorca but have never returned to same place twice, we will however return here! Mick and Fiona were friendly and easy to work with planning and booking our trip.

The only small suggestion is that the towels could do with being replaced.

If your looking for a relaxing home from home family holiday with lots of extras that you wouldn't get through a package deal this is the place to go....

The apartment in San Jaime is set amongst well kept spacious gardens 10minutes from the fabulous beach of Son Bou, the longest in Menorca.

The complex has 2 supermarkets, 3 pools, 3 restuarants, 2 tennis courts.

The resort of Son Bou is a family oriented area with an array of very good restuarants, bars and discos, with a small fun fair and various local festivals at different times throughout the season.

Son Bou has a tourist train which travels around the resort, there are regular bus services to The local town of Alaior which has some delightful local products and places to visit or you can stay on the bus and go to the capital Mahon Which has more shops and places of interest to visit.

The beach has a back drop of sand dunes and a nature reserve with a natural duck pond and has all the amenities you may require such as motor boats, pedalos, paragliding, 2 restuarants and shower and toilet facilities.
